Introduction/specifics

The kindergarten is located in Moosburg (district Neustadt), right next to the “Schulzentrum Nord”. The church of St. Pius, after which our kindergarten is named, is also located in this district. In addition, the district has a well developed infrastructure (shopping facilities, schools, nursery schools for children under 3 years old). The city center and the train station are within walking distance.

In the St. Pius kindergarten, children are looked after from the age of three until they start school. The daily routine, the opportunities to play and the pedagogical offer are wide-ranging so that all age groups can be catered for with regard to their needs and interests.

Rooms

The interior design takes many aspects into account in order to meet the needs and interests of the children and to offer them freedom for experience and learning. Our rooms are functional and yet not one-sidedly defined. Special areas in the group rooms, such as the puppet play area, building and construction area etc., as well as a second level upstairs give the children a feeling of security.

Outdoor Facilities

Around the house is our natural, spacious garden with various play facilities, such as a sandpit, mud area, swings, seesaw, climbing facilities, paths for tricycles or scooters. Our garden is surrounded by greenery, trees and bushes. Outdoor games offer space to move, let off steam and to gain experiences in nature.
