Current information

Our facility is run by the town of Moosburg and is located in Moosburg Neustadt.

You can find us in a traffic-calmed street between a forest, sports field and residential area at Hodschager Straße 4.

Our two groups offer space for 50 children aged 3 - 6 years.

The places are divided into 25 full-day places and 25 morning and lunchtime places.

The opening hours are from Monday to Thursday 07:15 to 16:00 and Friday 07:15 to 14:00.

The kindergarten is currently located in a container building, a new permanent building is already being planned.

The premises comprise two group rooms including adjoining rooms, a bedroom, a children's toilet, a kitchen and a housekeeping room, as well as staff rooms and an office. Our spacious garden offers plenty of room to move, discover and explore.

We work according to a partially open concept.

The children have their fixed group in which they can experience daily rituals such as morning circle and lunch. Different play areas and materials in the rooms give the children the opportunity to move freely around the building during free play time and to take part in different activities in everyday kindergarten life.

It is very important to us to support the children in their individual development.

We see ourselves as companions to the children.

We want to give them the opportunity to decide for themselves how they want to experience their day at kindergarten. An important aspect of our work is to accompany the children in their everyday life, to give them impulses, to offer them space and time to explore, discover and investigate.

We offer a warm lunch to children who stay at the facility longer than 12 noon.

Introduction/specifics

The kindergarten in Neustadt runs under the patronage of the city of Moosburg and is located in the Moosburger Neustadt in a residential and commercial area.
In the immediate vicinity is the sports ground of the football club TSV Moosburg, as well as the Haus der Heimat and the Stalag Museum.
Within walking distance are various shops, a large playground and the Moosburger Stadtwald.

Rooms

Our facility is a kindergarten. It consists of several assembled containers, which offers enough space for the children.
In addition to two group rooms with adjoining rooms, we have a bedroom, children's and adults' toilets, a kitchen, a staff room, an office and a storage/cleaning room.

In the back of the building is the exit to our garden.
This offers plenty of space for playing, running and romping. In addition to a sandbox and a climbing frame, there are also a swing and a seesaw.

Daily Schedule

Our daily routine in the house is as follows:

7:15 - The kindergarten opens

The children arrive in a calm and prepared atmosphere.

7:15 a. m. to 9:00 a. m. – pick-up time

From the morning the children can decide independently if and when or with whom they want to have breakfast. A breakfast table is available for children.
The delivery time for the children ends at 9 o'clock. Here all children should be present to start our common day.

9:15 to approx. 9:35 – The morning circle takes place

The groups meet at the morning circle and discuss the day in the kindergarten.
Here current songs are sung, upcoming events are discussed or even children and adults are looked at.
The colleagues explain to the children what activities take place in the house on that day and what they can take part in.

Approx. 9: 35 to 11:45 – Free play time

In the free play, the children decide independently where they want to stay or what they want to participate in.
On certain days, pre-school education and the German course also take place during this time.
11:45 to 12:15 – Preparing for lunch

The children meet again in their groups. Together they wash their hands for lunch and create a small lunch circle with songs, finger games or books.

12:15 to approx. 13:00 – Lunch

We get our lunch from a caterer.
The children are allowed to take their own food and decide how much and what they want to eat.
We support the children to eat independently with a knife, fork and spoon or to take drinks themselves.
Table discussions are welcome here. Lunch should give the children enough time to eat without pressure and at their own pace.

1:00 p. m. – Rest period

Children who need sleep are allowed to go to the bedroom to rest.
The other children can work in a quieter atmosphere in the group rooms. All children need a rest period in everyday life to be able to cope with the tension of everyday life.

14:00 – afternoon begins

At this time, some of the children are already picked up. The others have the opportunity to eat their brought bread again.
There will be another game and / or garden offer.

16:00 – The kindergarten closes

All children must leave the facility by 4 p. m.

Food

Balanced nutrition

This is the basis for a healthy and active lifestyle. It is not the ban on food that is considered balanced, but the right mix of everything. Therefore, a balanced breakfast and a balanced meal for the children is an important factor.

We obtain lunch for the children from a regional caterer. In addition to vegetarian dishes, the menu also includes meat and fish. The meal is completed with different side dishes, sauces, salads and desserts.

We participate in the school fruit program of the Free State of Bavaria. We receive for every child that is to 01. 08. every kindergarten year is three years old a certain amount of seasonal fruit, milk, cheese and yogurt.

We incorporate our weekly delivery into our daily routine with a small snack in between or as milk and cocoa day.
Children who are in the facility after 12 o'clock all take part in lunch.

Basics

From birth, a child deals independently and responsibly with its environment,
their abilities and their development. Each person is a unique personality with a spectrum of individual characteristics that must be supported and accepted.
Their curiosity, their desire to learn, their thirst for knowledge and their ability to learn are great and pave the way for self-determined actions and decisions. In this way, a child actively explores, discovers and shapes its reality and development every day.
We give children a place to learn by allowing them to design, plan and live their entire childhood diversity, their knowledge, their skills and their own world.
Here we see it as our task to meet the child on an equal footing, to share his joy and to support him on his path. Every child is supported in their competences, we also pick them up at their individual level of development and strengthen, support and accompany them a little bit along their life path.
We approach the children with an open and appreciative attitude, interest and
Empathy. A balanced relationship between proximity and distance is very important. The children experience affection and the need for affection if they want it and the necessary distance to make their own experiences. It is important to us that every child can develop in the game unobserved, but not unattended.

For us, what is our attitude visible in:

Joy
The aim is that the children like to visit our facility and enjoy their own
helping to shape development.

Participation
We involve the children in decision-making processes and take them with their concerns
serious, e. g. the children decide where and what they want to play.

Affection and security
In the warm, attentive interaction between us and the children,
visible and is shown by a pleasant, secure atmosphere in the house.

Respect and respect
We pay attention to each child and show that we respect them, just as we do.
It is, moreover, we meet the children with appreciation.

Cooperation
We convey to the child that we strive for mutual understanding.
We don't work for the children, we work with the children.

Structure, liability and limits
We show the children that living together only with binding rules and
structures is possible and why compliance is important. The children orient themselves e. g.
to our group rules.

Learning
We provide an environment with lots of suggestions and thus create impulses for a
holistic support

Employee

Currently, seven people work in our facility.

Our friendly team includes, babysitters, educators and a housekeeping assistant. In addition, every year we try to inspire trainees and apprentices for the pedagogical field and to further train them.

Everyone has different focuses, preferences and interests. Our teachers also offer a diverse and multifaceted offer, from which the children can benefit in everyday life.

Two teachers are entrusted with the function of director and deputy director. In addition to her pedagogical work, she is also responsible for the management, management and organisation of the kindergarten.

Our housekeeping assistant supports us with the daily maintenance cleaning and the washing of the dishes from the kindergarten day.

It is important to us to enable successful, professional and factual communication in the house.

Every employee should have the opportunity to express their needs without value, to develop their resources and to be allowed to address criticism, to accept and to find constructive solutions.

An open attitude is essential here, because this is the only way we can create a respectful and reliable working atmosphere in which it is fun to get involved.

The regular exchange takes place every two weeks in an evening staff meeting. But also jour fixe or small teams are an important part of our pedagogical work.

In these meetings, we use the collaboration to create an effective and efficient basis, as well as to identify needs, challenges or current tasks, take up and constructively develop them.

Our meetings also serve to disseminate information on current issues from the institution, the regional council office or from the department, as well as to plan celebrations and celebrations, to carry out pedagogical case studies, as well as to plan and reflect on our cross-group work.

We continue to develop in different areas through exam days, during which the institution is closed all day. Planning days are also part of this, in order to constantly reflect on and revise the day-to-day life in kindergarten.

Good teamwork is an essential prerequisite for professionally sound and competent educational work. The concept of cross-group work requires a high level of trusting cooperation, good and efficient organisation and constant agreement between all parties involved.

In order to ensure successful cross-group work for the benefit of children, it is important to us that all employees know their colleagues, accept each other and pursue common goals. This also includes getting in touch with each other, trusting each other and working constructively in the team. Because it is only through a positive dynamic in the house that we create an environment in which everyone feels welcome, accepted and comfortable.

Quality Assurance

Quality is created by a continuous process of negotiation and coordination between the needs of children and parents, as well as the professional requirements of the pedagogical work. An important criterion is the satisfaction of children, parents and the pedagogical staff of the kindergarten.

It is our aim to constantly reflect on and record our pedagogical work. In addition to evaluations of parties and celebrations, there is also the joint written recording of processes in the house.

These processes serve as a guide for our pedagogical work and as a guide for all existing and new employees in the company.

From these documents we draw the opportunity to optimize and improve all processes in the house.

As an institution, we conduct a status analysis (ISA) every year.

Here we reflect on our past year of kindergarten and set new goals and measures for the coming year. As part of an evaluation, the ISA is reviewed after about six months.

The institution shall conduct a written parental survey every year. Here the parents have the opportunity to anonymously submit a picture of the mood of the facility.

Cooperations

Our kindergarten is located in the Moosburger Neustadt. In addition to a variety of shops, the district offers playgrounds, shopping and green areas.

Through regular excursions and walks we explore the Neustadt together with the children.

Cooperation with other bodies

The city of Moosburg has seven municipal day-care facilities.

Close cooperation and good contact with the institutions is an important and strong basis for us.

Through regular meetings of the management, there is a constant exchange of important and pedagogical topics with the departmental management of the city of Moosburg. But also planning, innovations and changes in our pedagogical work are part of this.

The contact with primary school is also a basic point in our preschool education.

Together with the teachers, we try to create a foundation to facilitate the transition of children to school.

Cooperation with specialist services

In and around Moosburg there are a variety of specialist services, which parents but also we can bring into the house for support. These include, for example, German courses, various therapy options and support services,

We try to offer the best possible support to the children by working closely with the specialist services.

Our departmental management of the city of Moosburg and also the Landratsamt Freising are an important intermediary and contact partner.

Public relations

For all interested visitors who would like to get an insight into the facility, we offer an open day. We are happy to show you our premises, explain procedures and structures and are available for all questions regarding kindergarten and registration.

You can also contact us by phone or email.

Teamwork with parents

A positive cooperation with families is a basic building block on which we build. Only through mutual trust, openness, respect and friendliness can we create a pleasant atmosphere for all to shape the education, upbringing and care of children in partnership.

Parental discussions

We strive for a good parenting and educational partnership in order to lay an optimal foundation for the age-appropriate development of children.

There are different ways of communicating and talking to parents and families. In addition to short informal talks, short door-to-door and fishing talks in which we give the parents a brief insight into the day, we also offer the parents a yearly development talk.

The reference group shall invite the dependants to do so. In this way we want to give parents an insight into the individual development and current issues of the child. By means of observations and documentation, we record the developmental stage of the child and discuss it with the parents.

Together with the families, we aim to create an environment for the child in which he or she feels comfortable and safe and can grow up at his or her individual pace.

Of course, it is also possible to arrange further discussions with the educators and the management team in case of major questions, uncertainties, suggestions and other concerns.

Parents' Advisory Council

At the beginning of each kindergarten year, the Parents' Advisory Council is elected.

The Parents' Advisory Board consists of several members, supports the pedagogical team and acts as a link between parents and kindergarten.

Approximately four times a year, the Parents' Advisory Board organizes an open meeting, in which the management team also participates to exchange organizational information around parties and celebrations, to pass on ideas and comments and to discuss topics related to the kindergarten year. Other areas of responsibility of the Parents' Advisory Board are minor takeovers of activities, reminders of the parent of upcoming events, a right to be consulted in the planning of closing hours and contact with the institution.

It is our concern to hold Parent Advisory Board meetings in a friendly, respectful and pleasant environment. We all share a common goal to provide the best possible environment for children and their families.

Parental information

We try to inform the parents as soon as possible and in the best possible way.

As soon as the contract is signed, they receive all the information and documents that are important for our work with the children. In addition to various basics such as information on diseases and vaccinations, they also receive forms about excursions, allergies, important information for the first day of kindergarten and much more.

There is a bulletin board in front of each group. Here you will find important information about groups and how to cancel meals for your child.

Also in the entrance area parents will find general information, various flyers and announcements as well as our monthly review on which all offers and promotions of day-to-day kindergarten can be found.

But we also send current information and concerns by e-mail. Therefore, we ask already at the signing of the contract whether we and the Parents' Advisory Board mails to the parents.

Therefore, the day in kindergarten is an all-encompassing learning and experience.

From singing, finger games, table games, guided activities such as handicrafts or moving to free play, all areas of education are covered.

Projects can be different in our institution.

A project can be thematized throughout the year or different subprojects can be started.

At the beginning of each year, the kindergarten team gets together and plans the year. Here projects are roughly defined in the interests of the children and also in their level of development.

Over the course of a year, many different offers on this subject develop

Parental Interviews

Our institution conducts a parent survey every year.

The parental survey allows us to filter out the special needs of parents but also the children and constantly improve our quality in the house.

The survey takes place anonymously and for the entire facility.

The parents also get an insight into the results of the survey.

It is only through a joint discussion of wishes, suggestions and comments that we can set ourselves further goals for the kindergarten every year.
