Introduction/specifics

About Us – Drei-Rosen Kindergarten

The Drei-Rosen Kindergarten was established in 1993 using timber-frame construction and was built within just a few weeks. It is located in the Neustadt district of Moosburg. The name "Drei-Rosen Kindergarten" is inspired by the city's coat of arms, reflecting the tradition and connection to the region.

Our Facility – For Children Aged 3 to 6 Years

We care for a total of 65 children aged three to six years. These children are divided into two regular groups and one integrative group, where they are supported and guided by qualified and dedicated educational professionals. Each group receives individual care to help them thrive and grow in a safe and nurturing environment.

Opening Hours and Care

Our opening hours begin at 7:15 AM and end at 4:45 PM, offering flexible care options for both children and their families.

After-School Care for Schoolchildren

In addition to the kindergarten, we also offer after-school care for schoolchildren. This means that children can be cared for and supported pedagogically in the same building for up to 9 years, providing continuity and a familiar environment that helps ease the transition from daycare to school.

Our goal is to offer children a stable, loving, and educational environment where they feel comfortable, learn, and develop.

Rooms

Welcome to Our Facility – A Place to Feel at Home for All Ages

Our facility offers a spacious and loving atmosphere where both children and adults can feel comfortable and welcome. We create a space where children can discover, learn, and grow through play, while adults have the opportunity to engage in meaningful discussions about their child's development and daily life.

Our Spaces at a Glance:

  • Bright Entrance Area: The entrance area features notice boards with current information and events, ensuring transparency and providing a clear overview of what's happening in our facility.
  • Three Group Rooms (Researchers, Explorers, and Adventurers): Each group room is equipped with an adjoining side room. These include a kitchen, a construction corner, rotating play areas, and an art corner, offering endless opportunities for creative and active exploration.
  • Movement Room: A spacious room for targeted movement activities or simply for running around and playing. Here, children can let off steam and develop their motor skills in a fun and active way.
  • Gallery: This area hosts individual or group activities outside of the main group rooms, providing fresh ideas and new experiences for the children.
  • Rest Room: A quiet space for relaxation after lunchtime, where children can unwind and recharge for the rest of the day.
  • Sanitary and Washing Room: A dedicated area for personal hygiene, helping children develop independence and responsibility.
  • Staff Kitchen: The staff kitchen ensures that healthy meals are prepared for the children, supporting their well-being throughout the day.
  • Staff Room: A space for parent-teacher conversations, offering a quiet environment to discuss the child's development and well-being.
  • Office: A contact point for the facility management, where parents can address any concerns or inquiries they may have.

Our facility offers not only many opportunities for children to grow and explore but also provides parents with space for communication and information. We place great importance on trustful and transparent collaboration, ensuring that everyone feels comfortable and well-cared-for in our facility.

Outdoor Facilities

Our Outdoor Area – An Adventure for the Children!

Spending time outdoors is a central part of our daily routine, as we know how important it is for the well-being and development of the children. Our expansive outdoor area offers children in both the kindergarten and after-school groups numerous opportunities to connect with nature and be active.

A Paradise for Explorers:
The garden is a true adventure land! Here, children can run, swing, climb, jump, and play football to their heart’s content. Whether racing across the large grassy areas or discovering secret corners for digging, the garden offers endless play opportunities. At the same time, there are cozy retreat spots where children can unwind and relax.

Playing in the Open Air:
In addition to the garden, the children also have access to a large terrace. Here, they can play, craft, or come up with their own creative games in groups during nice weather.

We create an environment where children can not only engage in physical activity but also develop social skills, teamwork, and creativity. The diverse outdoor activities support not only physical development but also mental and social growth.

Daily Schedule

Our Daily Schedule – Structure and Security for the Children

A structured daily routine is of great importance to children as it provides them with a sense of security and comfort. By incorporating fixed structures and rituals into our daily schedule, we address these needs. The routines and rituals are always adapted to the current age group, developmental stage, and individual needs of the children. Our daily schedule not only fosters a sense of security but also allows the children to freely explore and discover their world.

Our Daily Schedule in Detail:

  • 7:15 - 8:15 AM: Arrival at the facility – Children have time to arrive calmly and prepare for the day.
  • 8:15 - 11:30 AM: Morning circle, flexible breakfast, projects, educational activities, outings, free play indoors and outdoors – The morning is filled with a variety of activities that give children space to develop and learn.
  • 11:45 - 12:30 PM: Lunch in the groups – A shared lunch in the group rooms fosters a sense of community.
  • 12:45 - 1:00 PM: Transition to rest time, start of the first pickup time – A peaceful transition to help children prepare for their nap or quiet time.
  • 1:00 - 1:45 PM: Time to relax and rest – A crucial time for children to unwind and recharge their energy for the rest of the day.
  • 2:30 - 3:00 PM: Afternoon snack – A light snack that gives the children the necessary energy for the remainder of the day.
  • 3:00 - 4:45 PM: Free play, projects, activities indoors and outdoors – The afternoon offers further opportunities for free play and creative activities, both inside and outside.
  • At 4:45 PM: The facility closes – The day comes to an end, and children are picked up.

Our fixed structures and rituals help the children understand the day and feel safe and secure. They provide a stable framework while allowing space for creativity, relaxation, and shared learning experiences.

Food

Shared Meals – A Place for Sensory Experience and Childlike Curiosity

In our facility, we create an environment where children can discover their natural curiosity and experience the concept of food with all their senses. We encourage a valuable and conscious engagement with food by offering flexible meals in our everyday pedagogical practice. These meals not only provide an opportunity to eat but also allow children to actively participate in the shared meal process.

Our Meals in Detail:

  • Flexible/Shared Breakfast
  • Shared Lunch
  • Flexible Snack (Afternoon)

The flexible meals always begin with a small group. The educators consciously initiate the start of the meal and ask the children whether they would like to begin with breakfast or the snack. The meal times are accompanied by established rituals and rules, providing the children with structure and security.

Choice and Responsibility
During the meals, children have the freedom to decide when and with whom they want to eat. They also have the opportunity to choose what and how much of the offered food and drinks they would like to take. All children are invited to join the table together, creating a sense of community and connection.

Healthy Nutrition Partners
We place great importance on providing healthy and balanced meals and collaborate with carefully selected partners to offer children a diverse and nutritious menu. In doing so, we not only support their physical health but also raise awareness about good eating habits.

Our meals are more than just an opportunity to eat – they are a valuable learning experience where children are actively involved in the process and can discover the joy of healthy eating.
