Current information

Introduction/specifics

It is located in the new town of Moosburg. The name "Drei-Rosen-Kindegarten" (Drei-Rosen-Kindegarten) is based on the town coat of arms of Moosburg.

The institution caters for a total of 65 children between the ages of three and six. They are cared for in 2 regular groups and an integrative group of pedagogical experts.

Rooms

Our facility is a place to feel good in a generous and loving atmosphere for young and old. These include:

  • a bright entrance area with posters, for transparency of current information and events in the facility.
  • 3 group rooms (group of beetles, mice and bears) with adjoining room, a kitchen, a plahouse, a constuction corner, changing play corners and a painting corner.
  • an exercise room, for targeted exercise activities or for romping and playing.
  • a gallery by offering individual or group offers outside the group rooms.
  • a relaxation room, for relaxation after lunch.
  • a sanitary and washroom, for personal hygiene.
  • a staff kitchen, for catering in the pedagogical daily routine.
  • a staff room, to be used for meetings with parents.
  • an office for liaison with the head of the facility.

Outdoor Facilities

The daily stay in the firschen Luft is particularly important for us. This is what our outdoor location offers for kindergarten and after-school children.

In addition to plenty of space to run around, the garden has plenty of opportunities for playing football, swinging, climbing, digging and jumping. The garden also offers children retreats.

Daily Schedule

A ritualized daily routine is of great importance for children to feel safe and secure. By anchoring fixed structures with fixed rituals in the daily routine, we meet these needs. Structures and rituals are always geared to the current age structure, developmental status and child’s needs. This includes in our facility:

  7:15 a.m. -  8:15 a.m.:     Arriving at the facility
8:15 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.:    morning circle, sliding breakfast, projects, educational offers, excursions,
11:30 a.m. - 12:15 p.m.:    Lunch in groups
12:15 p.m. - 13:00 p.m.:   Transfer to midday rest, beginning of the first pick-up time
13:00 p.m. - 13:45 p.m.:   Time to relax, rest
14:00 p.m. - 14:45 p.m.:    Afternoon lunch
15:00 p.m. - 16:45 p.m.:    Free game, projects, offers inside and outside
                At 16:45 p.m.:    Facility closes

Food

In our institution, we offer a place to arouse children’s curiosity, to engage them and to make food a sensory experience. To this end, we offer sliding meals as part of our educational daily routine. These include:

  • Sliding breakfast
  • Joint lunch
  • Sliding lunch (afternoon)

The sliding meals are started with a small group. The educator sets the start of the meal and asks the children whether they want to start with breakfast or lunch. The meal situations are accompanied with the appropriate rituals and rules. During meals, the children have the opportunity to decide when and with whom they want to eat, what and how much of the food and drink they want to eat. All children are invited to sit at the table.

  • that their abilities and skills can flourish.

Cooperations

Networking and cooperation means working together with other institutions and specialist services to facilitate transitions and changes for children. To this end, cooperation with primary schools and after-school care is particularly important.

The aim of the cooperation is to support the optimal and individual development of the child and to maintain an exchange of information. Here, we cooperate with early-career assistance centres, mobile special education assistance, occupational therapists and lionopaedists. Paediatricians, the child protection association, the health office and the youth welfare office complement the work for the child.

Teamwork with parents

Our objectives for a successful educational partnership in our institution with parents are:

  • to create a basis of trust by means of registration and reflection talks, door angling talks, as well as parent and development talks
  • Transparency of education with information walls, letters to parents and parents’ evenings
  • Enabling participation with parties and events
  • To offer forms of feedback through the parent survey
