“Children should play more than many children do these days. Because if you play enough when you're little, you'll carry treasures with you that you can draw on throughout your life." (Astrid Lindgren)
This quote from Astrid Lindgren is the linchpin of our educational work.
We give your child time to play in free play.
“How can I become if I don’t get time to get to know myself? How can I develop originality, preferences, strengths, spontaneity and inventiveness when my time is allotted?”
Playing is fun, it enables the development of imagination and creativity. Through play, children come into contact with their fellow human beings. It allows them to gain new experiences.
Our children discover the world through play. During free play time, our group doors open and the children can use the various play areas in our house. These include: the “Green Room” and the gym. The children can live out their urge to move through exercise construction sites in the gym or games on the sports field and in our garden.
At regular intervals we prepare a snack buffet with the children. On this day we cook and make snacks together. The other days there is a sliding snack time during the free play period.
In summer we spend a week in the forest and explore nature around the forest, meadow and stream.
Christian festivals and customs are important elements of our work. We talk to the children about various topics of the church year and organize children's services together with Father Michael De Koninck.
In the last year of kindergarten, the preschool children receive targeted support once a week. Through good cooperation with the primary school, we try to prepare the children as best as possible for the transition between kindergarten and school.
We record your child's entire time in kindergarten for the future using photo documentation.
