Introduction/specifics

Our day-care center was opened in 1953 as a crèche for the local spinning company and was completely renovated and expanded in 2006/2007. Since 2009, our house has had a branch office, which was closed at the end of July 2022.

In our day care center 137 children can play, laugh, sing, experiment, discover the world and much more.

Our crèche area offers space for 24 children in 2 groups and our kindergarten area for 100 children divided into 5 groups. We have a total of 5 integration places for children with special needs.

Our team is very diverse and consists of social workers, state-approved educators, state-certified social assistants as well as nannies and former childminders.

In order to fulfill our education and training mandate, we work according to the Saxon education plan. Connection to life, independence and self-employment are in the foreground. The acquisition of knowledge and the acquisition of skills and abilities should take place in direct interaction with nature, the environment and with different materials. The children are given a wide range of opportunities to develop their individuality and to get involved in the community. This promotes self-esteem and self-confidence can develop.

The life-related approach according to Prof. Dr. Norbert Huppertz determines our daily work.

Particular emphasis is placed on inclusion, movement and language.
