Introduction/specifics

Our day care centre is located on the edge of a quiet residential area. It is far away from the main road traffic and yet easy to reach by bus, S-Bahn or car. Particularly attractive is the 3500 square metre garden surrounding our facility, which is spacious and close to nature.

Our day care centre consists of two barrier-free building parts with a passenger lift and ramps that are connected to each other. There are 8 age-appropriate group areas, which are designed according to the interests and needs of the children, and corresponding ancillary rooms such as sanitary facilities and cloakrooms. Our in-house kitchen is located in the basement.

Rooms

Various functional rooms enrich the educational offers of our day care centre.

The sports room can be used individually for sports, play and motor activities.

The early and late duty room is available daily for individual learning and play situations for the children and therapists.

In the children's workshop, the children and their educators find space for their creative development areas.

2 building and construction rooms as well as creative and experimentation rooms are used by the children independently and with their own rules developed for this purpose.

The children's library is stocked with reading material for all the children's areas of interest, and educators can find educational and therapeutic media to support and acquire knowledge for their educational work with the children.

The Snoezelen room is equipped with various stimuli for the senses. There, the children find time and space for individual relaxation phases.

In the event room, the pedagogical material collection is available to all children and the specialist staff for the design of the entire daily routine. The size of the room is also used for interest-related activities, parties and celebrations or for part of the school preparation, wandering through the "Number Land".

Therapeutic measures (occupational therapy, speech therapy, physiotherapy and early intervention) for children with special needs take place daily in the therapy room.

Specifics

If prescribed accordingly, children with special needs can also receive therapeutic services at our facility in consultation with therapists in private practice. For this purpose, there is close interdisciplinary cooperation with the Interdisciplinary Early Intervention and the specialists from speech therapy, occupational therapy and physiotherapy. We support the organisation of the therapies, the exchange of information and provide the rooms.
