Introduction/specifics
We warmly welcome you to the "städtischen KiTa "Haus des Entdeckens"" and are pleased that you are interested in our day care center.
In our house we look after up to 80 children from the age of one until they start school in four grpups. The two regular groups, each wirth 25 children betwenn the age of three to six, are called "Tausendfüßler" (cetipedes) and "Erdmännchen" (meerkats). Thw younger children are looked after in two groups of 15 children in each group. The groups are called "Füchse" (foxes) and "Dachse" (badgers).
The KiTa has 52 all-day places, plus 4 all - day crèche places an 24 part - time places and is attended by children from Mayen, mainly from the district of Hausen and Betzing.
We create a space in which the children feel comfortable, where parents and educators meet and work together for the good of children.
