Introduction/specifics

Our beautiful kindergarten, with its tree-covered outdoor area, is located in the village centre of Holzhausen, a district of the municipality of March. We benefit from the lively community life and the proximity to the primary school, as well as the easy accessibility to various natural areas such as forests, fields and streams.

Our open-plan work allows us to explore, learn and play together with the children both inside and outside the centre.

In addition, we organise gymnastics lessons and activities to promote language, maths and science.

The kindergarten breakfast is prepared together with the children. We mainly use regional ingredients.

Rooms

In our open house, the group rooms for children over the age of three are functional rooms:

  • the studio,
  • the research and construction room, 
  • the ABC workshop
  • the role play area
  • The large entrance hall is used for various purposes and offers the children additional play space.

The building also has a multi-purpose room that invites children to move around and a wood workshop.

The crèche area, with nappy-changing and sleeping areas, is located at the end of the corridor and offers the younger children the opportunity to experience both security and freedom.

 

Outdoor Facilities

The children will find a variety of play opportunities in our outdoor area:

  • a hard court for vehicles
  • various play and climbing equipment
  • a sand and water landscape
  • a sensory area
  • a clay oven
  • and, of course, space and niches for romping around or for an immersive game.

 07.00 a.m. Early morning group of the day care centre

07.30 Early morning group for all others

08.00 a.m. Opening of home groups

08.45 a.m. Morning circle in the home group

09.15 am Free play and activities throughout the house

10.45 a.m. Meeting in the home group

11.00 a.m. Garden time

11.45 am Internal group time

12.15 pm Pick-up time

12.25 p.m. latest pick-up time for regular children

2.25 pm latest pick-up time for VÖ children

4.25 pm latest pick-up time for daycare children

In summer, our daily routine changes and we spend more time in the garden and in nature.

Food

We offer the daycare centre children a warm lunch.

This is supplied by the Thoma company, which works closely with us and responds flexibly to our wishes.
