Introduction/specifics

The day care centre is located in the old centre of Moischt in the building of the former village school. The old town centre is characterised by half-timbered houses and the main street, which runs through the middle of the town.

In the Moischt district of Marburg, there is a lively club life and thus also many offers for children and families. We maintain contacts with various associations and institutions and there are always common points of contact.

There are two farms near the day care centre which we visit regularly. We also make use of the natural play facilities in Moischt. We go on excursions into the forest and are out and about in meadows and fields.

Outdoor Facilities

The day care centre has a natural outdoor area with various play opportunities.

Food

Lunch in the form of a main course is delivered fresh daily by the company/restaurant Bottega in Marburg. In addition, side dishes such as salads or raw vegetables as well as desserts are freshly prepared in the nursery.

Basics

The focus of our pedagogical work is the care of the children in open groups according to the situational approach. Our work is geared towards the needs and interests of the children. Together we design the daily kindergarten routine and involve the children in the planning of projects, for example. 

It is very important to us that the children and their families feel comfortable with us and enjoy coming to the day care centre every day.

Employee

At the moment, there are six pedagogical specialists, one language specialist and one housekeeper working in our day care centre.

Qualification

The day care centre in Moischt is a certified and designated language day care centre.

Additional Offerings

Once a week we have the opportunity to use the gymnasium in the community centre, which is great fun for the children.

For us, good and trusting cooperation with parents is the basis for a successful educational partnership.

News

Our day care centre will be undergoing a lengthy renovation phase from the summer holidays in 2021. Among other things, the renovation of the children's bathroom, the design of a new kitchen as well as the revision of the group rooms and the reconstruction of the corridor are planned. During this time, the day care centre will continue to operate as usual, as major construction work is scheduled to coincide with the day care centre's existing closing times.

Overview

The day care centre in Moischt mainly accepts children from the Moischt district. The admission of further children from other districts is possible depending on the current space capacity and by arrangement.
