Hello, hello and welcome!

We are the kindergarten Krümelkiste in Halzhausen.

Since 2022 we have the great fortune to be able to care for our children in the new renovated rooms. Our kindergarten extends over 2 floors and has a great outdoor area.

The flexible care times are a great relief for you as parents.                                                                                            Our care model is called Kiga-Flex, with this system you can book from 30 hours a week up to 42 1/2 hours. Please inform yourself on the homepage of the municipality of Lonsee.

Rooms

Our kindergarten extends over 2 floors.

In these two renovated floors, there are 3 lovingly designed and light-flooded group rooms. However, the children also have the opportunity to retreat in comfortable adjoining rooms and to find their way into intensive and undisturbed play. Also worth mentioning is our large movement room in the center of the facility, here the children have enough space to really let off steam :)

Outdoor Facilities

Around our house extends a beautiful natural movement landscape -our garden :)

In our large garden, the children have many opportunities to pursue their individual interests.

Whether playing soccer on the soccer field, digging in the large sandbox, climbing on the climbing frame or climbing tree, rocking in the nest and swinging swing - or even driving vehicles and playing in the kitchen house offer our children many different play opportunities.

Daily Schedule

07:00 a.m. - 09:00 a.m. Bring time/ Free play / Free snack time

09:00 a.m. - 09:30 a.m. Morning circle

09:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. Free play / Free snack / Targeted activities

11:30 a.m. - 11:45 a.m. Clean-up time

11:45 am - 12:15 pm Lunch (if booked)

11:45 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. Free play in the garden (duration depends on weather)

13:30 p.m - 14:00 p.m nap time

14:00 p.m - 16:00 p.m Free play / Free play in the garden / Lunch snack

Pick-up time is flexible from 12:00.

Food

Free Vespers:

Every day, the children have the opportunity to eat breakfast freely during a period between 07:00 and 10:30. The children bring a snack from home. Meetings and conversations between the children then take place at the dining table. Great conversations ensue and different cultures meet, which the children can also discover in the variety of snack boxes.

Joint breakfast:

Once a month, we decide together with the children what we would like to have for breakfast in the kindergarten. New and seasonal foods are introduced and tasted together. On this day, the breakfast is hosted by the kindergarten. Here the children have the opportunity to try unknown things in unison with everyone and thus get to know different tastes. Whether savory or sweet, everything is covered and a balanced variety is ensured.

Lunch:

The children have the opportunity to eat a fresh warm meal every day. We get our food from Lamm in Asch, where the selection is also very varied and attention is paid to regionality and seasonality. A highlight for the children is that they have a say in what they eat for lunch. Together they decide on the main course for the coming week. This is accompanied by an appetizer and a dessert.
