Introduction/specifics

Our facility is visited by families with very different needs and family forms. Origin or religion does not matter. Everyone is welcome in our house. Children from one year up to the beginning of primary school are admitted and are cared for in different groups. The division into the individual groups is made by arrangement and according to the selected booking time. Requests for a specific group are taken into account as far as possible. Children from one year to three years have a place in the "Spatzennest", our nursery group. When the children are three years old they swap to one of the standard groups, provided that there is a place available there.

Daily routine Rule group

Breakfast service starts from 7:00 am to 7:30 am on the ground floor in the "Igelgruppe".
The children are looked after in one room by a kindergarden teacher.

- From 7:30 a. m. , the children are picked up by their group teachers and go to their own groups.
- Playtime in the individual groups
- 8:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. sliding snack time
- Until about 10:00 a. m. free game; in the meantime guided creative projects
- From approx. 10:30 a. m. to 12:00 p. m. free play, circle of chairs, targeted offers and garden time
  12:15 to 12:45 p. m. Lunch and second snack in the groups
- From about 12:45 pm time for rest and relaxation differently designed (picture books, puzzle, radio play, if necessary a        little nap)
- From 1:30 p.m. free play or garden time
- Two days a week we carry out projects from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm.
- 3 p.m. hrs common, cross-group snack and garden time
- 4:30 p.m. End of the day care period (on Friday at 3 p.m.)

- 9:15 until 09:45 a. m. breakfast with own snack
- 9:50 a. m. to approx. 11:15 a. m. (excursions, garden time, offers, gym, … )
- From 11:30 a.m. Lunch 
- 12:00 Pick-up time, free play time and lunchtime sleep
- After waking up individual organization of the afternoon and cross-group support
- 4:30 p.m. End of the day care period (on Friday at 3 p.m.) 


Everyday life is a priority, very complex learning field, especially in the "Spatzennest": eating, sleeping, body care, take up a lot of time in our daily routine. We don´t want to rusk the children but give them as much time as they need.

Food

Lunch


For children who stay over lunch, we offer lunch. The menu is varied and designed for children. The food is delivered by a local provider. Children who do not attend lunch bring their own meals. Drinks (sweetened tea and water) are available to the children throughout the day.


We take part in the campaign “School Fruit” and get fruit and vegetables once a week during school hours for all children, which we often cut together with the children and offer for breakfast. We also receive whole milk and dairy products monthly.

Basics

Children are already independent beings who do not become a personality only by acting. They develop curiosity, curiosity and curiosity, and want to understand their world and its processes. The newborn human being is born as a “competent” infant. Children have inherent strengths, versatility and talents right from the start. Children learn anytime, anywhere, from day one. They’re curious and want to know.
From birth, we see the child as an active co-organizer of its development. This is a complex and unique event that is shaped by the personality and individuality of the child. It offers a range of unique characteristics due to its temperament, its facilities, strengths, conditions of growth, its own activities and its pace of development. The development of the child proves to be a complex, individual event. Children make the biggest developmental steps in their early years. Their thirst for development and their joy of discovery will never be as emphasized  as in this phase of life.

At this stage, we want to address them in all areas as best we can and guide and support them where they need help.
Doing everything themselves is crucial. Children can only really understand what they are experiencing themselves. For this, children need time, time to experiment, to make mistakes and to repeat.

Children should learn that every new educational achievement makes them more independent.
Children need children and the accompaniment, support and social commitment of adults in order to awaken their talents and develop their personality.

Opening hours

We offer the following opening hours for the groups and the nursery "Spatzennest":

Monday to Thursday from 7:00 a. m. to 4:30 p.m.
and Friday from 7:00 am to 3:00 pm.
The minimum weekly booking time is 25 hours.

Closing times

We will inform you in writing at the beginning of the kindergarten year on which days the kindergarten closes during the current kindergarten year. There is a clear calendar for this.
There you will find all closing days, events and dates. Our kindergarten is closed up to 35 days a year.

On weeldays that are between statutory holidays and weekends the children are looked after in mixed groups.

Overview

Notification

The kindergarten year starts on 1. September. The dates for registration are published in the “Lindenberg aktiv” and on the homepage of the Evangelical Lutheran Parish.

Registration takes place continuously during the year or on the “Tag der offenen Tür". On this day, parents and children make a first tour of the house and garden, learn about the general conditions and get to know the staff and the rooms.

Admission procedure

The individual groups invite the prospective parents to an information afternoon, a parent’s evening or an interview. On this day, parents and children will have the opportunity to explore the house and garden, and you will receive the necessary forms and initial information for a good start.

The admission is binding on both parties upon conclusion of the supervision contract. If possible, we try to take into account requests concerning a particular group. Siblings can be admitted to the same group if you wish.

The kindergarten with its very large outdoor area is located right next to the parish house and the parish office of the Evangelical Lutheran church community.

Despite the adjacent main road, the kindergarten is idyllic and nestled in the large forest property quiet and not visible due to its structural location.
