Current information

Premises

Our daycare center is located in a building complex where people of all generations come together. For the children of our Villa Kunterbunt, living together in solidarity across generations becomes a tangible experience both inside and outside the daycare center, guided by the motto: “Learning from one another, living together, and supporting one another.”

Our Image of the Child

Every child is unique and capable. We see children as active participants in shaping their own development, exploring the world with curiosity, their own ideas, and individual needs. In an appreciative and non-judgmental environment, we give children the space, time, and opportunities to participate and make decisions, enabling them to develop self-confidence, social skills, and a sense of self-efficacy. Through attentive and responsive guidance, we support children in developing their abilities and experiencing themselves as an important part of the community.

Cooperations

Intergenerational Work

Due to our close proximity to St. Georg Nursing Home, natural encounters between children and senior citizens are an integral part of our everyday life. Regular joint activities such as singing, arts and crafts, cooking, and celebrations promote exchange, mutual appreciation, and consideration for one another. This intergenerational approach creates opportunities for learning from each other, strengthens social skills, and enriches the lives of both our children and the older generation.

Specifics

Nature Education

Our nature group spends every day outdoors, with the sky as its roof and nature as its learning environment. Through free play, shared exploration, and hands-on experiences in nature, the children develop their motor skills, senses, sense of community, imagination, and self-confidence. Nature provides space for holistic learning, physical activity, and healthy development.
