Kinderhaus Lenzkirch – starting small, growing together

Those first steps outside the family are something special. At Kinderhaus Lenzkirch, we support children under the age of three as they discover new things, develop confidence in their own abilities and become part of a community. Our nursery offers 14 places across two groups, providing a manageable setting for children’s first shared experiences with other children.

Discovering and trying things out for themselves

Children learn with all their senses: through play, movement, creativity and experimentation. We tap into their curiosity and encourage them to take the initiative themselves. Whether it’s getting dressed, eating or expressing their own wishes: we support the children in becoming increasingly independent and treat them with respect and appreciation.

A daily routine full of little discoveries

Watching stories together, reciting rhymes, playing in the garden or going on an outing: our daily routine offers a wealth of opportunities for learning and discovery. Free play, physical activity and creative activities have just as much of a place as shared meals and quiet time. Through our daily interactions, we foster a love of language and support the children as they learn to express their own needs and recognise those of others.

Educational Quality and Experience
Qualified early years professionals provide attentive care for the children and support them in their individual development. Our quality approach combines building respectful relationships with the promotion of language skills, independence and social learning. The focus is on the children’s needs and a trusting partnership with their families.
An experienced centre manager and the sponsoring association, Familienfreundliches Lenzkirch e. V. – which has been involved in childcare since 2006 – provide the organisational and professional framework for our work. Together, the team, management and sponsoring association share responsibility for the quality of the care provided.

Engaging with parents
Parents are an integral part of what we do. A trusting partnership and dialogue about their child’s development form an important foundation of our educational work.
