Introduction/specifics

The day-care center opened its doors in the summer of 2020 as the association’s eighth facility. Our guiding principle "KITZ - on the trail of nature" has accompanied us from day one. Children are naturally curious, little explorers and use all their senses to explore their natural world and living environment every day. Through our joint research time and the associated impulses, we support the children in developing their own theories so that they can understand the connections in the world. Researching the environment ties in with a mindful and attentive interaction with all living beings on our planet, whereby our large garden is also used as a place of learning. Animal-based education is an important basis for us to teach children how to treat animals with respect and to promote a sense of responsibility. Our rabbits are the children's loyal companions and are cared for and cared for by everyone together. Animals are authentic, react directly to those around them and can therefore also act as mediators in contact with the children. The animal-supported pedagogy also supports the willingness to communicate, the ability to integrate and has a positive influence on the socio-emotional, mental and physical development. We see nature as the greatest treasure and try to develop more and more sustainable strategies to protect our environment. This also includes saving plastic and using natural materials. This idea is also supported by overarching garbage collection campaigns. In addition to our above-mentioned focal points, the focus of our educational work is of course the child with its individual needs and resources, which we support and encourage. Our aim is to create an educational environment in which children can acquire all the important basics of personality development by learning to play with us, so that they learn while playing.

Rooms

Our entrance area

The entrance area offers plenty of space for a relaxed arrival. Here is all the information that is important for parents and a fresh coffee is always ready. The cloakroom also serves as a small race track for the children. Hedgehog and mouse are ready and waiting for rapid rides.

Group room

The spacious group room leaves nothing to be desired. The room can be divided in two by a sliding door. On the one hand there is the dining and creative area as well as elements of our research theme.

On the other side is our plateau, among other things. Through these you can enjoy the view of the garden and thus have two more play levels available. Up there, all kinds of wall games encourage exploration. Below is a large and cozy cozy corner that invites you to relax and read. Built-in crates are a perfect foundation for our large build area. On the opposite side there is a role-playing area that awaits little master chefs, doctors and craftsmen.

Changing room

Small but fine that is how our baby changing area can be described. Here we have a large changing area and small drawers for each individual child.

On the other side are two small toilets for the first diaper-free attempts. The washbasin is designed to encourage the children to become independent by washing their hands daily before and after each meal.

Bedroom

Our bedroom is just as spacious. This offers all 12 children a cozy place to take a nap. Each child has their own place to sleep and a box for their cuddly toys.

If you are not sleeping, this can also be used for small offers or a children's disco.

Kitchen

A fresh and healthy breakfast is prepared here daily, as well as a tasty snack for afternoon tea time.

Daily Schedule

08:00 am – 09:00 am

The children are to be brought between 08:00 and 09:00. The children are welcomed and can start the day. Dad and mom have the opportunity to use the parental leave and start the day together with their child or to exchange ideas with the other parents over a morning coffee. The free game has started and great promotions should not be missing.

9:00 am

Our morning circle begins at 9:00 a.m. - we will greet the day with hands and feet. We greet our group, sing great songs and play exciting games in the morning circle. We also use this time for our birthday parties.

A healthy breakfast follows the morning circle. We feast and fill our stomachs with a delicious, healthy breakfast that sets us up for the day. And our "table service" ensures that everything is beautifully set!

09:45 am

At this time "open playing time" begins. We have many options: free play indoors and outdoors in the garden, trips to the playground, support offers, small group activities, project work and much more... We often go out with our crèche bus and explore our surroundings.

12 pm

Lunch is at 12:00 pm. We meet together at the table and the fun feast can begin. We value our common rituals at the table.

12:30 pm

Then we go to the bedroom at 12:30 pm for rest and sleep. Each child has its individual place to sleep in our cozy bedroom. Together we enjoy pleasant dreams and gather energy for the afternoon.

15 pm

The belly growls a bit again and needs to be filled. We meet for a joint afternoon feast – tea time! It is diligently "crumbled".

The activities start in the last round of the day... games, fun and excitement. Our children will be picked up by 4 pm

Food

Backpack-free and vegetarian (without fish and meat) daycare center

Meals such as breakfast, lunch and tea time are taken at the daycare centre. The children do not need a backpack, because the kindergarten offers breakfast, lunch and tea time. All dishes are purely vegetarian and mostly in organic quality.  The children decide for themselves what and how much they eat!
