Welcome to the Montessori Kindergarten. We are looking forward to your application.

We are an integrative facility including 3 kindergarten classes with a crèche and we apply
the education principals of Maria Montessori. Almost 80 children attend our kindergarten
between the ages of 1 and school entrance age.

Rooms

Our large, well-lit and friendly classrooms, the spaciously sized entrance and multipurpose
area, the gym hall along with our close-to-nature garden offer diverse possibilities
of work and play for all children.

Outdoor Facilities

Our large garden offers plenty of space for many different child activities and physical
incentives.

Daily Schedule

After arriving at the kindergarten and an initial brief playtime each class begins the day
with a joint morning circle. The day continues with a snack, work with different materials,
accompanied learning, time in the garden, free playtime, breaks, lunch and many other
activities.

Food

High-quality, regionally produced, tasty, organic-certified meals are provided on a daily
basis by our caterer 'cook mal bio'.

Basics

Our educational emphasis is the work according to Maria Montessori : physical and
sensory training, individual development support, independance and self-guided learning
to affectionately accompany and support the children in being architects of their own
progress.

Employee

Our team currently consists of 16 nursery school teachers who structure each day with
their abundant professional competence and devotion and accompany the children in all
areas.
The nursery school teachers are supported by the home economics assistants, the
building caretaker and many student apprentices from various trade schools.

Qualification

All of our multifaceted nursery school teachers have obtained the Montessori diploma,
respectively are in the process of doing so and regularly continue to upgrade their skills in
various areas.

Cooperations

We accompany the children only for a part of their lives. Many other people and institutions

Overview

Our kindergarten ist an urban kindergarten, i.e. that means we can only accept children
from the city of Landshut.

Applications are possible at any time. Admisson usually occurs in the month of September.
Places that become vacant can be occupied by new children during the course of the
kindergarten year.

Children who attended the Montessori crèche and siblings of Montessori Kindergarten
children will, when possible, be given preferential admission.

It is very important to us that the parents can identify with the Montessori education and
are willing to actively support the educational work in the sense of a positive educational
partnership.
