Current information

Introduction/specifics

Welcome to CampusNest

We are a daycare center with two nursery groups for children aged 1-3 and two kindergarten groups for children aged 3-6.

The purpose of the facility is to help balance family life, studies, and work at Landshut University of Applied Sciences.

For this reason, the facility is primarily available to students and employees of the university and the student union. Any remaining places are allocated to children of residents of the city of Landshut. The children at our facility come from different areas of Landshut and the surrounding communities. The parents mainly want childcare because they are working or studying at Landshut University of Applied Sciences.

Opening hours:

Monday–Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Drop-off time: 7:30 a.m. to 8:45 a.m.

Pick-up time: flexible during the booking period (except during meal and nap times)
Daily early service from 7:30 a.m.

Parents are informed of the facility's closing days at the beginning of the daycare year to help them plan their vacations.

Our team:

The children entrusted to us are looked after by qualified educational staff:
The team consists of a manager, a deputy manager, one educator (specialist and group leader) per group, and at least one other specialist or assistant (nursery nurse). Our team also includes additional staff such as a housekeeper, assistants, interns, and employees who are on call to cover for absences of permanent staff.

Specifics

“We are a nest where you feel comfortable, can freely develop your abilities, and learn to fly.”

Our mission statement:

The prerequisite for any educational work is that the children feel comfortable in our daycare center.

That is why our work is geared toward the needs and developmental stage of each individual child and the group as a whole. Every child should be able to pursue their interests and inclinations.

We value them as independent personalities and accept them as they are, with their individuality and desires.

However, the limits of self-determination are where others are restricted in their interests or where dangers arise that the child cannot yet assess.

We offer:

  • Inclusion positions in all groups.
  • Therapeutic/rehabilitative support provided by our in-house specialist service
  • Inclusion specialists

Overview
