The Igling daycare center is a public facility run by the municipality of Igling, represented by the first mayor, Mr. Günter Först.
From the daycare year 2025/26, we will look after over 150 children in three crèche and five kindergarten groups from the age of one year until they start school.
Each crèche group lives in a lovingly furnished group room, which is supplemented by a separate hygiene room (changing area), its own kitchen, a dining area and a quiet bedroom. The group room offers the children educational stimuli and natural impulses. It has adequate opportunities and areas for crawling, crawling, climbing, rocking, ascending, winding, walking, pushing, pulling, sliding and running, in line with the motor development of one to three year olds.

Each of our five kindergarten groups lives in a lovingly furnished group room, which is created according to a “rooms in rooms” concept. These include dining areas, a role play corner, a craft/creative area, a reading and cozy corner and a building and construction area. All group rooms are supplemented by a small adjoining room.

We offer our children a tasty and nutritious lunch from the kitchen of the catering company “Der Kocht!” from Hurlach.
In our daycare center we recommend that all parents book lunch for the children, as the children eat together from 11:15 a.m.
In our kindergarten, childcare should be booked until at least 1:00 p.m. so that your child has enough time to eat a warm meal in peace. If your child is booked until or later than 2:30 p.m., we highly recommend booking lunch as well.
Every child is unique, we respect, protect (SGB VIII §8a) and promote their individuality.
Our daycare center is a place where those involved can feel welcome and accepted. In order for a good parenting and educational partnership to be successful, child-oriented collaboration with parents is important to us. Child self-determination, social responsibility and the development of basic skills guide our work with children.
We are always “awake”, trusted and reliable dialogue partners and sources of inspiration for the child. We initiate, observe and document learning processes.
Our daycare center is a space characterized by warmth, the opportunity to grow and mutual acceptance.
