Rooms

The builders and explorers room

By providing a wide variety of materials, the builders and explorers room offers the children the opportunity to acquire and/or practise a wide range of skills and abilities in building and construction.

They can find answers to their own questions in the experimentation and research area: e.g. about magnetism, electricity, nature experiences, etc.

The arts and crafts room

The children receive playful introductions to the theory of colours, sculptural and drawing techniques and can acquire knowledge about various artists and artworks throughout the history of art.

There are plentiful materials inviting the children to become creatively active and support their fine motor skills.

The nest

The guidance of the 2-year-old children is particularly important to us.

To ensure an age-appropriate and protected setting, they are cared for in our so-called nest area.

The whole layout and schedules as well as the staff are aligned to the specific requirements of this age group.

The bistro

The bistro area invites the children to enjoy their packed morning snacks between 7.30 am and 10.30 am. We offer fresh fruits and vegetables along with tea and water and also provide a grain crusher for the kids to produce their own oatmeal.

The gym

The gym can be used in small groups independently by the kids to practice different movement sequences on their own but there is also regular gym sessions with the teacher navigating the kids through movement with rhythm, music, gymnastics, teaching exercises in parkours, and trying out different gym accessories and materials.

The role playing area

This area allows the kids to re-play real life situations (e.g. “mother-father-child-play”) or to dive into a different role and just act. The area is set up according to the current theme of interest to the children.

There can be tables and chairs, cupboards or mattresses, candlesticks, treasure boxes, costumes.

(e.g. an old attic/former pre-school children's project).

Food

We cook fresh food! 

Only fresh products are used for lunch. There is either salad or vegetables, and meat or fish 2-3 times a week. The diversity of food cultures (no pork) and medically certified food intolerances are considered. We use wholemeal products and as an example, we use honey to sweeten, our herbal salt is homemade, so is our ketchup. Our in-house chef prepares the food along with our housekeeping employee in our own catering kitchen.

Since 2022, our kitchen has been certified with the Nutritional Quality & Hygiene Standard.
