Introduction/specifics

At the Kinderhaus auf dem Bühl and the Kinderhaus Schöpflin (Nido), you will find a variety of childcare options under one roof.

The Kinderhaus auf dem Bühl offers space for 95 children in four mixed-age groups. The age range extends from three years old up to primary school age.

The following care options are available:

• Full-day care (7 AM – 4 PM)

• Split model VÖ/GT (alternating weekly: 2/3 days VÖ and 2/3 days GT)

• Extended opening hours (7 AM – 1 PM) without Lunch 

• After-school care (for first and second grade students)

Basics

The educational concept aims to provide children with stability and security to support their positive development during these important years of life. All our centers serve as consistent points of reference for children and their families.

The core focus of our educational approach is holistic development—always taking into account the individual biography of each child. The Kinderhaus works in partnership with families, complementing their role in raising their children.

All three centers employ only qualified professionals. The primary role of the educator is to facilitate and shape the educational environment. Key areas include creativity, crafts, and rhythm and movement—with the whole child always at the center, following Maria Montessori’s guiding principle:
“Help me do it by myself.”
