Rooms
Spaces and play areas
Children recognize, conquer and reflect the world through play.
Curious, stubborn, self-determined and motivated, they explore their environment and engage in social interaction with others.
The Kita St. Rochus sees itself as a place of learning where your child is accompanied by pedagogical specialists to discover, explore and understand his or her own world.
In the daycare center, all children have access to various rooms and play areas:
- In the two group rooms and adjoining rooms, different areas are set up with different focuses, e.g. building and construction, creative design, research and experimentation, role play.
- Each group has a checkroom area with adjoining washing and changing areas, which preserve the children's privacy through partitioned areas and privacy screens.
- In the hallway and entrance area, a reading corner invites you to linger over stories and picture books.
- A quiet and sleeping room, the "star room" is used as a sleeping room for the U3 children, for small group work, relaxation and fantasy journeys across groups.
- On the upper floor, the children have access to a large movement room for a variety of movement experiences.
- The outdoor area with its focus on sand and mud, running, romping, climbing, sliding, swinging, and balancing offers the children a variety of movement opportunities to try out.
