Introduction/specifics

The Fröbel Kindergarten is located in the centre of Korb.

We are a three-group kindergarten that offers children space to live, play, laugh and try things out together in fixed groups.

We have two kindergarten groups, each with space for 25 children, and a toddler group with space for 10 children aged 1-3 years.

The following childcare hours are offered in the three groups:

Nursery area:

Monday to Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Extended opening hours (VÖ6) with 30 hours per week.
Toddler area:

Monday to Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Extended opening hours (VÖ 6): 30 hours per week.
Lunch is not provided at our facility.

Rooms

Our group rooms offer a beautiful view of the garden and are cosy and individually furnished so that your child can feel right at home.

Outdoor Facilities

Our large garden offers many opportunities to exercise and be active.

Basics

This is important to us
As a Protestant nursery school, the Christian mission is important to us and shapes our work. We want to introduce children to Jesus in various ways and convey to them the certainty that God loves them.

The first step in this process is for every child to experience that ‘I am loved and accepted.’ In a positive atmosphere, children experience security and safety. Our second focus stems from this: ‘Together, we enable social learning.’
 

‘We are well protected under God's wing’
Experiences with one's own personality in a group lead to important learning processes. Joint activities and space for independent discovery, action and play characterise our everyday life at the nursery. We find our topics for the planning units from the children's experiences, in the annual cycle and in the church year. With everything we do, we want to place ourselves under God's protection and care in our nursery.
Our kindergarten is barrier-free and offers children with and without disabilities or developmental delays space to play, learn and live together.
