Kita Waldkrümel
Current information
The Waldkrümel are a forest group that is a part of the Kita Krümelkiste. The forest kindergarten has no roof and no walls. The children spend the kindergarten day with their teachers outdoors, in almost every weather. The only restrictions are weather conditions that make it dangerous to stay outdoors. The heated forest wagon is located at the edge of the forest in Borgsdorf. From here the day starts in the Briese forest, lunch is eaten here and the children are picked up here. The prescribed group size is 18 children aged 3 to 6+ years, with a key of two state-certified educators.
The Waldkrümel facility is open from 8:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. with a maximum care time of 6 hours for each child.
If care is not possible because of weather or safety reasons, alternative care will be provided in the Krümelkiste.
