About us

• We look after 73 children aged 1 to 6 years in four groups.
• Three groups with 22/23 children aged 3-6 years, of which 10 children are in all-day care
• one crèche group with 10 children aged 1-3 years
• Each group is staffed by two teachers during the core time, who are responsible for the educational work in this group. In addition, there are cross-group activities

Times

• Extended morning group 7.30 a.m. - 2.30 p.m.
• All-day care Monday to Thursday 7.30 a.m. - 4.30 p.m., Friday 7.30 a.m. - 2.30 p.m.
• Drop-off time until 9.00 am

Rooms

Our facility has the following rooms: 

• 3 spacious Ü3 group rooms 
• A U3 group room with an adjoining bedroom and separate sanitary area
• a hall with a play area
• a multi-purpose room in the basement (e.g. for gymnastics, activities and celebrations)
• two washrooms
• a staff room with a kitchen
• an office

The group rooms are divided into the following play and educational areas, which can be changed as needed:

• Role play area
• Painting and creative area
• Construction area
• Reading area
• kitchen
• Research area

Outdoor Facilities

In our spacious garden the children will find many play opportunities that enable them to experience things with all their senses. Among other things, there are two sandpits, various climbing equipment, a double swing, a water play area and much more.

Food

During free play the children have the opportunity to have breakfast. We make sure the children eat and remind them to do so. Please give your child a healthy, varied snack with fruit or raw food. Sweets and nuts have no place in the lunch box. 

We also offer a hot lunch upon request. We get this delivered warm from our caterer “Enjoy as easy as child’s play”.

Cooperation

• The cooperation teacher from Johann Peter Hebel elementary school in Gundelfingen visits us once a week

Location

• The kindergarten is located in Wildtal, a district of the municipality of Gundelfingen, idyllically almost on the edge of the municipality, surrounded by vineyards, forest and meadows.

You can reach us by car or the Sonnenwiese bus stop is not far from the kindergarten.
