Introduction/specifics
The kindergarten is located in the district of Günzburg- Wasserburg. It is situated on the outskirts of Günzburg in a rural setting.
Admission criteria:
The kindergarten accepts children from the Günzburg catchment area.
The facility has 75 places for children from the age of 3 until they start school (6/7 years). There is a special permit for 5 children under the age of 3 to be admitted from the age of 2 and a special permit for up to 7 individually integrated children to be cared for in the facility.
The opening hours are:
Monday - Thursday from 6.45 am to 5.15 pm and
Fridays from 6.45 am to 12.30 pm.
The parental contribution depends on the booking times.
Closing days:
The kindergarten has 30 closing days in the entire kindergarten year. The vacation schedule is given to all parents at the beginning of the kindergarten year. The kindergarten is closed over Christmas/New Year's Eve and for 3 weeks during the summer vacation (August). Additional closing days (for bridging days, team training etc.) will be announced to parents in time.
Food:
Healthy eating and balanced nutritions is also a goal of the facility. The children are offered a varied, fresh and healthy breakfast buffet every day.
The institution participates in the "EU school program - fruit, vegetables, milk and dairy products for Bavarian children".
The Children always have access to carbonated and non-carbonated Water and non-sweetened cold brewed tee every day.
Lunch is provided by the Albertus Magnus facility. A menu costs €4.00 per day and consists of a soup, a main course and a dessert.
Activities/events:
Of course, there are also some highlights during the kindergarten year. For example, the kindergarten organizes a dad's afternoon, a mom's afternoon and a grandparents afternoon. We celebrate St. Martin's Day, St. Nicholas Day (Santa Claus), Christmas and carnival. Several excursions are also organized over the year. At the end of the kindergarten year, there is always a big kindergarten party and the future schoolchildren are allowed to spend the night in the kindergarten and are given a proper send-off.
