The Auwald daycare center is a public, family-supplementing facility. It is run by the Günzburg town council, Schlossplatz 1, 89312 Günzburg.

We bring together children who differ in many ways, e.g. in terms of age, gender, strengths and interests, learning and development speed, specific learning and support needs, as well as their cultural or socio-economic background. 

A total of up to 64 children are cared for in two mixed-age, partially open all-day groups and one after-school group. The family-friendly childcare offer applies to crèche children from 12 months to after-school children from 1st to 4th grade who already attended our facility as kindergarten children.  
This means that children who start school can continue to attend the daycare center, making the transition from daycare to school easier for children and parents. The caregivers remain the same. 

Every child, regardless of origin, culture, language, religion or ideology, has the right to the best possible education and upbringing from the very beginning.
