Our daycare is located in a residential area, close to a forest, park, and meadows, surrounded by an untouched playground. We use this environment for excursions, nature observations, and play. This gives the children the opportunity to consciously experience the change of seasons through the plant and animal world. The children can shape the daycare routine according to their abilities and learn that they can create a livable environment for themselves. In this process, the children are to gain trust in their own physical and mental abilities and be able to use them appropriately. The children are supported and challenged in their emotional stability, their ability to express themselves, their social skills, their self-esteem, and their curiosity. Doing things on their own is crucial, and for this, a variety of experiential spaces are provided that challenge initiative and are equipped with stimulating materials. The children are accompanied in their learning processes by the educational professionals who create the framework conditions to enable them. The educational professionals are reliable confidants and partners of the children, allowing them to engage in self-education as architects of their development. The daycare children can complete their homework, but they also have the opportunity to take advantage of a variety of play and activity options. For diverse activities outdoors, climbing equipment, sports equipment, and space for ball games are available to the children. Retreat options give the children the opportunity to pursue their needs for calm and individuality.
