Introduction/specifics

Our children's home was built in 1911 as a school building and was used as a primary school until 1968. Since 1996, children from the age of 3 have been visiting the children's home and are lovingly and individually cared for in three groups according to the method of Maria Montessori.

Montessori pedagogy is ideal for bringing up children with different requirements together. Our children's home offers integration places. Various aspects and needs are taken into account when the children are admitted.

In our children's home, integration is lived and supported with the goal that all children can develop their individuality and mutual respect and tolerance can grow.

Working with parents is a priority in our facility. We believe that an optimal upbringing and support of each child is only possible if a trusting and intensive cooperation is established and lived. We take the time for you and your child.

In addition to the regular training, our employees have an additional qualification in Montessori pedagogy. Our desire and goal is to accompany the children on their way to personal development and independence.

Basics

Dear parents, as a state-approved facility, we have to comply with the guidelines of the education and training plan (BEP) according to the Bavarian Kindergarten Act, as well as participation as a further component.

The work in our children's home is determined by Maria Montessori's guiding principle: "Help me to do it myself". For us, this means accompanying children on their way to independence and respecting their own needs.

It is our wish to build up a relationship with your child in intensive exchange with you as the parent or guardian, which will enable him to continue to develop healthy. We value and respect our protégés in their entire personality.

Children need freedom just as much as boundaries as guidelines that they can use for orientation and that make them feel secure and protected. It's up to us to find the right balance.

We look after your children lovingly until they start school and aim to maintain a trusting working relationship. The exchange of experiences and information is important to us, as well as the formulation of wishes and ideas.

Overview

If enough places are available, the selection will be made in the following order:

1. Children who live in the municipality of Gilching;

2. Children whose mother or father is a single parent, employed or in education;

3. Children whose family is in a special emergency;

4. Children whose two legal guardians are employed or in education;

5. Children who need care in a day-care center in the interests of social integration;

6. age group of children;

7. siblings.
