Introduction/specifics

We, the FortSchritt nursery "Zipfelmützen" were opened as one of the first all-day facilities for toddlers in Gilching in September 2007. 

Our nursery is a two-group facility located directly on the marketplace. We attach great importance to a domestic and family atmosphere and want the child to feel comfortable in our house. The "Zipfelmützen" are a place of encounter where the child can further develop his social, cognitive and emotional abilities.  

Parents have the choice between different booking categories. The monthly fees are based on the booked childcare time.

Employee

The team of the "Zipfelmützen" consists of pedagogical specialists, nannies and interns. For normal, the two groups are staffed in the morning with 3 employees per group.

The team is supported in the housekeeping area by a part-time employee.

The facility management is also the head of the kindergarten "Löwenzahn" in Gilching and works for both institutions.

Every two weeks a music teacher, visits us in the facility to offer the children early musical support in small groups.

To support our children with special needs, a remedial teacher comes to our facility every week.

Additional Offerings

Our kindergarten teacher at the Zipfelmützen has a dog named Fanny. At regular intervals (about 1-2 times a week) she brings her to the facility. The children have the opportunity to get to know Fanny better in a protected environment and at fixed times in constant company. Fixed times are e.B. in the morning circle, or during a short walk in the park, or with a guided animal-assisted offer in the kindergarden.

At the rest of the time, Fanny is out of reach of the children.

Our kindergarten teacher has acquired a dog driver's license with her dog. Regularly, the health of the dog is proven, this includes vaccinations and regular deworming. The dog is clean and free of parasites.

Specifics

Children with special needs are very welcome. Each child is accepted by us in his individuality and offers are designed in such a way that every child has the opportunity to participate. Together with the parents, the specialist service and the pedagogical staff, possibilities are sought to overcome existing difficulties and to create optimal conditions for the child.

If there are enough places, the selection is made in the following order: 

1. Children living in the municipality of Gilching 

2. Siblings of children who are already cared for in the kindergarden 

3. Children from FortSchritt institutions, living in Gilching 

4. Children whose mother or father is a single parent working or in education 

5. Children whose family is in a special predicament 

6. Children whose two persons are entitled to work or are in education 

7. Children who need care in a day care centre in the interests of social integration 

8. Age of children
