Introduction

Welcome!

We are delighted that you are interested in our St. Lioba Children’s and Family Center. In our facility, we care for children from the age of 10 months until they start school. Our daycare consists of two toddler groups with up to 10 children each, as well as one preschool group with a capacity of up to 25 children.

Rooms

Our daycare center, which opened in 2024, offers each group a large, bright, and friendly designed group room with an adjoining differentiation room and sanitary facilities. For our toddler groups, there is also a separate sleeping room for each group, providing the children with rest and a sense of security.

A spacious play corridor invites all children to explore and play across groups. The children in the preschool group enjoy free breakfast as well as lunch in the adjoining kitchen, while the toddler groups have their meals together in their group rooms.

In addition, all children have access to a large multi-purpose room equipped with a variety of materials for gymnastics, climbing, swinging, and playing, offering plenty of opportunities for movement and fun.

Furthermore, our Family Center includes two additional friendly and welcoming rooms, each with an integrated kitchen and sanitary facilities. For our staff, there is also a separate staff room with an integrated kitchen.

Additionally, a separate stroller room is available, where parents can safely and conveniently store their strollers.

Outdoor Facilities

Our newly designed outdoor area provides a wonderful balance to the activities offered inside the group rooms. Here, all children have the opportunity to develop freely according to their individual abilities and skills.

The outdoor space includes, among other things, two climbing towers with slides, a water play area, swings, and spacious sandboxes that invite children to play, explore, and experiment.

Our access sluice to the outdoor area ensures a hygienic and convenient entry and exit.

Daily Schedule

Daily Schedule in the Preschool Group (ages 3+):

• Drop-off time until 8:30 a.m.
• From 7:15 a.m. to 8:00 a.m., children are cared for in the early group (Eulengruppe).
• From 8:00 a.m., care takes place in the preschool group (Fuchsgruppe).
• Free breakfast until approx. 10:00 a.m.
• Morning circle.
• Free play time until 12:30 p.m., including educational activities and the opportunity to use the outdoor area.
• At 12:30 p.m., joint lunch for full-day children.
• Afterwards, a rest period: stories are read, and children who wish may take a nap.
• Afterwards, children continue playing in the group or outdoors.
• Around 3:00 p.m., children have their brought snack, followed by free play.

Daily Schedule in the Toddler Groups:

• Drop-off time until 8:30 a.m.
• Care from 7:15 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. in the early group.
• From 8:00 a.m., care takes place in the main groups.
• 8:45 a.m. morning circle.
• 9:00 a.m. joint breakfast.
• Until 11:30 a.m. free play with educational activities as well as outdoor play and other activities.
• 11:30 a.m. joint lunch.
• From 12:00 p.m. nap time until approx. 2:00 p.m.
• Around 2:45 p.m. snack time: the children enjoy their brought snack.

Food

Frühstück:
Wir leben den zuckerfreien Vormittag, daher legen wir großen Wert auf eine gesunde und ausgewogene Ernährung. Wir bitten darum, auf Süßigkeiten und süße Speisen zu verzichten.

Freitags findet ein gemeinsames Frühstück für alle Gruppen statt. An diesem Tag ist es nicht notwendig, Frühstück von zu Hause mitzubringen. Die Kinder entscheiden selbst, was es an diesem Tag zum Frühstück geben soll.

Als Getränke bieten wir Wasser, Milch und ungesüßten Tee an.

Mittagessen:
Das Mittagessen wird von „Tischlein deck dich – Zaug“ geliefert. Wir erhalten einen Speiseplan vom Caterer, aus dem die Kinder täglich aus drei Gerichten auswählen können, welches Gericht sie essen möchten. Der Speiseplan hängt an unserer Infowand aus.

Bei der Zusammenstellung des Speiseplans achten wir auf eine ausgewogene Ernährung sowie auf Unverträglichkeiten und kulturelle Ernährungsgewohnheiten.
