Introduction/specifics

The all-day school is an offer for all pupils of the Gerzen primary and secondary school.

It includes:

• a lunch provided by Landgasthof Geltinger from Reichlkofen,
• homework assistance with learning and preparation time,
• and subsequent leisure activities such as sports, creative activities and free play.

The all-day program takes place from Monday to Friday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Each of the two groups has access to a group room and homework room, the school kitchen, the gymnasium, the workshops and craft rooms, as well as the school cafeteria and the schoolyards.

The all-day school is free for all children; only the (voluntary) lunch must be paid for by the parents themselves (handled via Kitafino).

Full-day care is particularly suitable for children whose parents have to work in the afternoons, who need intensive support with their homework, or who have afternoon classes on one or more days. Between two and five afternoons can be booked.

Daily routine:

11:00 – 12:45 Supervision, games, crafts

12:45 – 13:15 Lunch

13:15 – 13:30 Exercise in the schoolyard, group walk or similar.

13:30 – max. 15:00 Homework and study time, preparation of presentations, etc.

3:00 PM – 4:00 PM Leisure time:

• Games indoors and outdoors, possibly exercise in the gym
• Craft and painting activities, larger joint projects
• Cooking and baking in the school kitchen, with joint shopping trips for this purpose.
• “Sound construction site” in the music room,
• Reading group
• longer walks, e.g. a day in the forest
