Introduction/specifics

My name is Susanne Imeri. I was born in Fürth in 1977.

I have four children of my own, aged between 14 and 25, one of whom still lives at home.

My eldest son has finished his studies and is currently living in Berlin for work.

My daughter lives in Bamberg during the week and is currently completing an apprenticeship there. She comes home at the weekend.

Rooms

Premises:

We live in Fürth, in the beautiful Burgfarrnbach neighbourhood on the edge of the forest.

The childcare takes place in our 135 square metre flat.

There is a small play area set up especially for the daycare children, but we use the entire ground floor for playing.

We also use our play area for sleeping, or a room that my own children have free during the week.

We then set up our cosy tent beds there.

Daily Schedule

daily routine:

We have a fixed daily routine, as this gives the children a sense of security.

Nevertheless, there is room for flexibility.

Arrival in the morning 7.30 - 8.20 a.m.

Breakfast 8.15 - 8.45 a.m.

Playground visit, indoor activities from 9 a.m.

Lunch approx. 11.15 - 11.35 a.m.

Afternoon nap 11.45 - 13.45

Snack 14.10 hrs

Pick-up time 2.00 pm - 3.15 pm

Food

Healthy Food is important to me.

I cook very varied, fresh lunches and favour seasonal and organic food, which I supplement with a good mix of conventional products.

We often eat vegetarian meals, supplemented with fish and a little meat.

Healthy snacks such as raw vegetables and fruit are always available.

We mainly drink water.

In the afternoon we have a snack consisting of crispy bread, natural yoghurt 1-2 dates, apple, banana, oatmeal with yoghurt and fruit, etc.

Basics

The children are lovingly and individually cared for in the protected environment of a lively day family.

I look after between four and five daycare children aged around 1-3 years, or until they start kindergarten, and I believe that young children can develop and grow optimally in this smaller setting.

News

We spend a lot of time in nature, go to the nearby forest, to the farmer, visit our many building sites and of course our beautiful playgrounds in Burgfarrnbach, which are within walking distance. We also use the public bus for excursions.
