Dear parents,
My name is Annika Weber, I was born in 1982 and have been working as a childminder since 2005. I usually look after 3-4 children from the age of 10 months until they start kindergarten. My childcare hours are Mon-Thu from 7.30-15.00.
My family includes my husband and our 3 children (born in 2005, 2007 and 2011).
When we are inside, I look after the children in the living room. I have various cupboards with toys there. I put the children to sleep on folding mattresses in the bedroom. I prepare meals in the open kitchen, which is adjacent to the living room.
The apartment has a balcony where the kids can splash around in summer, as well as a small garden behind the house. In the garden there is a slide, some vehicles and a mud kitchen, which the children love to play in.
I prepare fresh meals every day, making sure they are varied and fresh.

In 2023, I took the opportunity to undergo further training as part of the City of Fürth's "Pedagogical Quality Support" program.
The care takes place mainly outside in nature where we like to spend time in the park and adjacent playgrounds. We also like to meet up regularly with another day care group outside. Once a week we try to have a sports day. When the weather is good, we often have picnics in the park, but we also spend some time outside when the weather is bad. We also go on various excursions throughout the year, such as to the canal, the city forest or the zoo.
