The municipal daycare center “Haus für Kinder – Die Flughafenbande” is located in the “Alter Flugplatz Atzenhof” district near the golf park in Fürth.

Our facility is characterized by spacious rooms, all of which are on one level. The after-school care area is located next door in the school building. In addition to the large group rooms, several smaller function rooms, and the exercise room, the children especially enjoy using the large garden.

As a family-complementary facility for the education, upbringing, and care of children from approximately one year of age until the end of elementary school, we look forward to welcoming you and your child as a family. 
We are happy to accompany your child as they grow up, respond to their needs, and support them in their upcoming developmental tasks. We look forward to an exciting journey of discovery and experience with your child.

Rooms

We have many different rooms available for use in our daycare center. In addition to the large group rooms (approx. 75 m²), the children can also use other rooms according to their needs.
In the nursery, there is a sleeping room adjacent to the group room.
In the kindergarten area, there is an adjoining room next to each of the group rooms, each of which has a specific function. 
Currently, these are the “library,” where children can retreat to read books, listen to stories, or find some peace and quiet.

There is also a larger homework room, which is designed in such a way that the children enjoy using it in their free time. 
And there is another smaller adjoining room, which, as our children say, is more inviting for chilling out. There is also a large exercise room that we can use.

Outdoor Facilities

Our large outdoor areas offer children a wide range of opportunities.

The enclosed nursery outdoor area has a sandpit, a climbing frame especially for children under three years of age, and several rocking animals. The outdoor area is designed to offer a variety of materials for sensory experiences. Lawn, sand, paving slabs, and roughly hewn sandstone blocks that also encourage climbing.

In the kindergarten area, the outdoor play area has two sandboxes, a swing, a bird's nest swing, a climbing tower with a slide, a sand play platform, two horizontal bars, a balance beam, an outdoor hammock, a water/mud area, and plenty of space to run and romp around. The kindergarten groups' raised beds are also located there.

The after-school care outdoor area also has a nest swing, balancing discs, a climbing frame, plenty of space for movement games, and a popular youth soccer goal. There is also an outdoor lounge that the children enjoy using.
