Our lunch service
We obtain our lunch fresh every day from the
caterer “Chef Happy” from Nuremberg. Special requirements,

Employee

Our multi-professional team consists of:

The house manager, Ms. Hofrichter, works as a specialist in our facility and has also completed additional training as a nursery teacher.

All employees are fire safety assistants and are regularly trained in first aid courses especially for small children.

Mr. Walther supports the facility four times a week, acting as kitchen assistant and carrying out minor janitor tasks.

Quality assurance and quality development measures

All JUH facilities in Bavaria are subject to the Johanniter quality management system and are certified in accordance with DIN EN ISO 9001:2015 by TÜV Süd.

Cooperations

Educational counseling centers

On request, we can provide parents with the contact details of our neighboring educational counseling centers. There they have the opportunity to obtain information and advice on questions regarding their child's upbringing and development.

Specialists in the context of inclusion (district)

The educational specialists work closely with prevention-oriented specialist services. For children with an increased developmental risk and (impending) disability, the specialist service offers its services in the childcare facility. The specialist service advises on early identification, additional support measures and referrals and provides guidance.

Youth welfare office

There is close cooperation between the relevant youth welfare offices and the Johanniter children's facilities. The youth welfare office of the respective municipality or city acts as the supervisory authority for the daycare centers. Meetings and training courses are held at regular intervals by the youth welfare office. The Youth Welfare Office informs us about changes made by the Ministry and supports parents in their search for a suitable place. It also offers financial support in individual cases, e.g. by covering childcare and catering costs or other financial expenses (excursions and material costs etc.). We are also happy to put you in touch with the right people if you have any questions about your child's upbringing and education.

Associations, institutions and individuals

Through targeted networking, we aim to support families, create offers for families and expand the children's living environment. The children's facility is not an island, but a meeting place that increases the educational offer and promotes relationship building.

Like many other social institutions, our daycare center is dependent on support and donations of all kinds. We therefore appreciate any financial, material or personal support, no matter how small.

Teamwork with school

Taster internships

As part of a “taster internship”, pupils are offered the opportunity to complete a time-limited internship in various professions. The students are given an insight into the tasks of the profession, e.g. childcare worker/educator, and are assigned smaller tasks in order to determine their potential suitability for the profession. The class teacher of the respective student visits the trainee 1-2 times and, if possible, also conducts an interview with the group leader.

Vocational school for childcare

It is a voluntary decision on the part of the facility to accept trainees from the vocational school. Our daycare center can provide one internship per group. During the internship, the interns are supervised by the group educator and the childcare worker and mentored by a teacher from the school.

Specialist academy for social pedagogy

We can employ trainee educators or Optiprax students from the specialist academies for social pedagogy in our Eichrichtung. In order to make the cooperation between us, the practice center, and the academy as effective as possible, we are invited to the instructors' meeting and informed in detail about the content and objectives of the social pedagogy seminar. The implementation of the practical training plan and its evaluation take place in the institution. We also maintain written, telephone and personal contact with the respective teacher.

Teamwork with parents

Cooperation with parents and/or guardians is very important for successful educational work in our facility. It is the basis for a constructive and cooperative upbringing of the child. Joint activities with parents strengthen the sense of community and give expression to the shared educational responsibility. Parents take an active part in what happens at the facility on a voluntary basis.

Our daycare center does not want to be a facility with high walls, but a house with open doors. It is therefore important for us to work together with other institutions in order to exchange ideas and suggestions and thus enrich and further develop our own work at the facility. It is important to us to inform parents, families and visitors to our facility about our educational work and to make it transparent.

To this end, we display the regularly updated version of our educational plan and a weekly review in the entrance area and in the drop-off and pick-up area of the facility. The educational priorities regularly planned by the teaching staff, which are derived from the Bavarian education and upbringing plan, provide information and insight into the educational work currently taking place. The weekly review makes this clear and provides an insight into the educational areas in which your child has been supported through special activities.

Our special features

We work hand in hand with Johanniter Kinderkrippe Glückskäfer, so we can also use their gym once a week.

Once a year we spend a whole week in the forest. During this week, the Schatzkiste is closed and we spend the whole day outside

We take part in the annual Kidsmarathon.

We hold a special parade at St. Martin's Day at the wild boars in Oberführberg and much more.

We plan lots of special activities throughout the year and try to involve parents as much as possible.

Parents' council, parents' activities and, above all, getting together at parties/celebrations is very important to us.

Parent survey

An annual parent survey is one of the most important quality assurance measures. Parents/guardians have the opportunity to comment anonymously on our work at the KiTa. Our registration procedure

Parents can register their children at any time. Parents can find the registration link on our homepage. Registrations during the current educational year are possible in writing (change of residence, family crisis situation, etc.). Children who cannot be accepted due to a lack of places will be placed on a waiting list if the parents so wish. If a place becomes available during the current educational year, there is then the possibility of moving up. Admission to our facility is based on the number of places available. If there are not enough free places available, the following criteria are used for selection, whereby the order of the list makes no statement about the urgency.

Description and Stations

The nursery is located in the southern part of Fürth. The facility is easy to reach by public transport. The Jakobinenstraße subway station is in the immediate vicinity and Fürth main station is also not far away. There are good shopping facilities on site with Netto and Aldi right next door.

Just like the shopping facilities, playgrounds and the city park are also within walking distance.
