Information about the childcare facility:

Christkönig I Kindergarten is located in the Schwand district of Fürth, close to Christkönig Catholic Church and Fürth Hospital. The daycare center is very well connected to the public transport network and can be reached by city bus, subway and S-Bahn (Klinikum (West) stop). The Christkönig 1 kindergarten offers space for up to 50 children in two mixed-age groups, from the age of three until they start school. The partially open concept as well as the situation-oriented and situational approach are applied in the educational work.

The children are at the center of our educational work. Every child is unique and an independent personality - with rights and very individual needs, inclinations, preferences and life circumstances. Accompanying, supporting and challenging children in their development and unfolding their personality in a targeted manner is our daily work and one of our most important tasks. 

"Education is a social process.":

By observing and documenting children's learning and development processes, we tie in with the children's interests and developmental steps. We involve children in the planning of our day-to-day work in a participatory manner - particularly in the context of projects and children's conferences. Whenever possible, children are involved in the decision-making processes that affect them. Christkönig I Kindergarten is a place of social interaction where children, parents and educational staff shape life and learning together. In this educational process, each child has its own experiences and uses these to create its own image of the world.
