Introduction/specifics

Welcome to the Parkpiraten!
Our childcare centre is aimed at families with children between the ages of 1 and 3. A maximum of 10 children are looked after by 2 childminders at the same time.
Our spacious rooms are in the immediate vicinity of the Jakobinenstraße underground station and are therefore very centrally located and easy to reach.
The highlight, however, is the Fürth city park in the immediate neighbourhood, which is visited daily in all weathers and is an oasis of fresh air, exercise and relaxation for us at the same time.

Rooms

  • We have two large rooms in which our children can move around freely. Fixed, but also changing play material, as well as niches for retreats, invite the children to pursue their interests freely.
  • A small room is ideal for sleeping and resting.

Outdoor Facilities

The Fürth city park, our second living room, offers various playgrounds, duck ponds, balancing and climbing facilities as well as wide lawns with large trees.

Daily Schedule

Our daily routine (example)

  • After the set "bring time", when all the children have arrived, we start the day with a joint song in the morning circle. The children then have the opportunity to play freely and with their own choice of materials.
  • This is followed by breakfast together.
  • Freshly fortified, they head off to explore the city park or the playground, which is also located in the park.
  • Back at home, lunch is prepared and eaten together and then the children go to bed for a midday nap.
  • After getting up, they can have another snack and play freely. Before the parents arrive, we will tidy up together and end the day together with the children with a farewell song.

Basics

Our aim is to create a protected, sensory-stimulating space for the children in which they can interact with each other and experience themselves as part of a community. We want to provide each child with a varied learning environment that is tailored to their level of development and individual interests, in which they can experience themselves as competent and are encouraged in their skills.

Values

  • In the context of day care, we enter into an educational partnership with the parents for the child. Every upbringing is based on values that are expressed in the child's behaviour and provide orientation. In our dealings with the children and in the children's dealings with each other, mutual respect and the joy of working together as equals are important to us. In addition, we want to teach the children the ability to take responsibility for themselves and others, appropriate to their age, and to empathise with the needs and feelings of others.
  • Another important point for us is to teach the children to enjoy and respect the nature that surrounds us. This can be demonstrated both on our daily trips to the park and when we prepare our meals together from fresh ingredients.

Teamwork with parents

Cooperation with parents

  • We offer children and parents a place of encounter, equality and appreciation. We both take the wishes and needs of families seriously and try to fulfil them wherever possible.
  • We also need you parents at our side as experts for your children.
  • We want a partnership-based relationship with the parents of our daycare children, honest dealings with each other and compliance with the contractually agreed points, such as adherence to the drop-off and pick-up times.
  • But also the parent consultation time and the "door and hinge" conversation help us to guarantee you and your children the best possible networking with our day care centre.

News

Movement, movement, movement

  • As movement-orientated people, movement is very important to both of us. Through movement, the child learns about its own body and its possibilities and limits.
    • The group rooms offer enough space to move freely. The different materials invite the children to rearrange them themselves.
    • Various forms of movement such as crawling, rolling, climbing, balancing, swinging and strength are automatically activated not only inside, but also outside in the park through the children's actions.
    • The park's wide open spaces are ideal for running, romping, trampolining and much more.
      • The outward/return journey over roads, kerbs and building sites also challenges the children's motor skills.
