Introduction/specifics

My name is Tasmin Sakalli, I was born in 1993 and have been a mum to two boys since July 2023.
I am a state-recognised educator and have many years of experience working in kindergartens and daycare facilities. I am particularly enthusiastic about working in day care, as I can cater to all individual needs in a manageable group and support each individual child.

Rooms

My day care centre ‘Die Affenbande’ is easy to reach by bus, the bus stop is right outside the door; the underground station Jakobinenstraße can also be reached in a few minutes.

There are two large rooms available for the children in my large flat:

The quiet room: Here there is a cosy corner with cuddly toys and books as well as the children's beds.

The activity room: Here there is a shop, a play kitchen, a climbing triangle and numerous other toys. In the centre of the room there is a large table for eating, crafting, painting or baking together.

In the bathroom, each child has their own towel and, if required, their own potty.

Outdoor Facilities

There is a large, shady playground right outside the front door. Südstadtpark is just a few minutes' walk away. There are large meadows and several playgrounds here, two of which are ideal for small children. There are also two other playgrounds in the neighbourhood. It takes about 15 minutes to walk to the city park, where there is another playground and a water playground for small children in addition to large play areas. The shady inner courtyard of the house is a great place to be in summer, as it provides a cool change of scenery.

I prepare fresh food every day, make sure I eat a healthy and balanced diet and only use regional organic products wherever possible.

Basics

Every child is unique and learns at their own pace.
It is important to me to see each child individually and to respond to their needs and feelings one by one. It is important to create a trusting and loving atmosphere in which each child can develop their personality and discover themselves. I want to support and accompany them in this process. This means that I encourage children to try things out for themselves before I help them.
I make targeted offers that are orientated towards the children's interests and needs. I want to give the children a framework of certain rules and structures in which they are also allowed to decide many things for themselves, so that their self-esteem can be strengthened. It is also important for me to offer the children plenty of exercise, preferably in the fresh air, but I also enable them to exercise indoors with obstacle courses or toddler yoga.
I will regularly share my observations of the children's development with the parents if they wish.
