Basics

Our pedagogy focuses on the competent child who actively and socially shapes their environment. We encourage children to contribute their own ideas, wishes and visions to the educational and institutional process. We see participation and co-determination as the key to education and democracy. We want to empower children to make their own decisions and find joint solutions to problems in social interaction.

Our goal is a holistic education for every child. Through targeted and open educational activities, projects, free play and everyday situations, the children at our facility receive holistic support in dialog with the specialist staff and acquire important basic skills. They are allowed to explore the world with all their senses and full use of their bodies. We encourage the children's curiosity, self-drive and interest and offer them space for their own, self-directed (learning) experiences.

Our image of the child

We take little people seriously. From birth, every child is a unique, fully-fledged human being with individual needs, abilities, talents and perceptions. They want to explore the world with all their senses, they want to grasp, feel, touch and understand their surroundings. And they want to be actively involved from the very beginning. We see it as our most important task to recognize, enable and encourage this.
