Eltern-Kind-Initiative Stätzling e.V. Schatzkiste

Current information

Introduction/specifics

We are a self-organised parents' initiative in which parents and educators work hand in hand. Our aim is to provide your children with an environment that enables them to learn, use, live out and develop their full potential and to learn from this for their lives through play.

In our facility, we care for nursery, kindergarden and after-school children in one group. This form of care enables the children to experience contact with other age groups. We have had very positive experiences with this and have noticed a very high level of social competence in our children (protective instincts in the "big ones", increased urge to learn/fun to imitate in the "little ones").

Daily Schedule

The children have the opportunity to have breakfast according to their needs until 9 a.m., followed by a common morning circle. During the free play time, the children can choose different educational activities according to their needs in order to gain individual learning experiences. The children are happy about the joint lunch (caterer) and enjoy the rest time.

During the quiet time, the children come out of school and then they can also eat.  Before their free play time, they have a time frame to do their homework.

It is very important to us that all children play outside a lot.

Our weekly activities include: Gymnastics in the gymnasium of the school nearby, toy day, pre-school, pre-course German, day in nature

Basics

Our educational approach lies in enabling and promoting the children's individual development and maturation process. To make this possible, we offer each child a well-prepared environment and attentive guidance. Key skills such as creativity, teamwork, networked thinking, independence or social understanding are promoted through individual development and their own experiences.

Our educational approach is based on situational and childs needs base.
