The three-group kindergarten offers space for 70 children from 3 years to the school age.

Two groups with extended opening hours from 7.00 a.m. - 1.00 p.m

and an all-day group from 7.00 a.m. to 4.00 p.m.

Daily Schedule

The kindergarten opens for all three groups at 7.00 a.m. The children can arrive until the morning circle starts at 8.30 a.m. After the morning circle we eat snacks together. Different activities take place every day, we go for walks or to the playground. From 12.00 p.m. to 1.00 p.m. the children from the two groups with the extend opening hours can be picked up. The children in the all-day group eat at 12:00 p.m. lunch and then take a short break. In the afternoon they can play in the group room or in the garden. Later there will be a small afternoon snack. The pick-up time for children in the all-day group is from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

We are a value-based kindergarten. The values ​​that the life and actions in our kindergarten are esteem, respect and tolerance. We work project-oriented and our educational work is based on the orientation plan for education and training in Baden-Württemberg.

Language and movement are important dimensions of a child's personality development. Both, the development and movement can be considered separately from each other and yet they support and influence each other.

Language is learned in order to tell/speak and communicate. Movement and perception are prerequisites for language acquisition.

Motor skills is also fundamental to cognitive and social development. It not only promotes language acquisition, but also supports the whole basis of learning.

Therefore, we offer regular movement and language development in our kindergarten and plan our everyday life appropriate.

We cooperate with the primary schools in Freudenstadt, the Martin-Haug-Stift, other organizations in the city of Freudenstadt, authorities, department, associations and advice centres.
