Introduction/specifics

The DRK Philipp Soldan Family Center in Frankenberg offers families a wide range of opportunities to learn from and with each other, play together and have a conversation. Our DRK daycare center is located under its roof, as well as space for courses, playgroups and advisory services.

Crèche group: Education & care for children aged 1-3 years

Kindergarten group: Education & care for children aged 2-6

Pedagogy: Partially open concept and cross-group pedagogy in the large age mix

Opening times: Monday to Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m (Late childcare until 17:00 is only possible if at least 5 parents in the facility request this childcare module!)

Care times are individual.

Rooms

Our five-group daycare center is located under the roof of the DRK Family Center Philipp Soldan in Frankenberg, which has three regular groups, for children from the age of 2 until they start school, and two crèche groups, for children from the 1st year to the 3rd year.

The rooms are modern and spacious and the lovingly designed outdoor area also offers a wide range of play and exercise options.

Outdoor Facilities

Our house, the DRK family center "Philipp Soldan" in Frankenberg (Eder) has a large outdoor area with numerous play options.

Food

The daycare center has the option to take part in the lunch menu for a fee. Lunch is prepared fresh every day in the daycare center.

Overview

Our daycare center offers up to 99 places in 5 groups for children from the age of 1 until they start school. The boys and girls with and without disabilities, regardless of their social and national origins, are looked after together in 2 crèche and 3 kindergarten groups.

The catchment area refers to the city of Frankenberg (Eder) and its districts.

Admission takes place based on date of birth, not upon receipt of registration.

Our house is located on the edge of the new development area “Bockental” and in close proximity to the great outdoors.
