Basics
Our Educational Philosophy:
- Learning from and with one another
- Participation for everyone – no one is excluded
- Appreciation and respectful interaction with one another
- Celebrating the richness of diversity – everyone belongs (regardless of nationality, language, appearance, or disability)
- Children learn to interact with each other openly and without prejudice ("it is normal to be different")
- All children have the right to participate in activities, express themselves, and have a say
To do justice to all children, our kindergarten operates in smaller groups of 18 to 19 children. Our nursery group (Krippe) with 12 children also offers a safe and nurturing environment where children receive individual guidance. Naturally, children with special integrative needs can also be admitted there and supported according to their individual needs.
Thanks to our higher staff-to-child ratio of three qualified educational professionals per group, we can guide and support each child individually and purposefully. In addition, each kindergarten group is supported by a curative education nurse (Heilerziehungspflegerin), who brings her professional expertise into the daily routine.
For children in integrative placements, we work closely and trustingly with the relevant specialist services as well as therapists. Through regular exchange, we create the best possible conditions for the individual and holistic development of every child.
