Introduction/specifics

KiTa Sattlertor was founded in 1959 in the heart of Forchheim’s historic Old Town.

In 2011, children and staff moved into a beautiful, light-filled new building on Karolingerstraße. Four mixed-age groups provide children - ranging from age 3 up to school entry - with space to play, make friends, grow, and create lifelong memories.

KiTa Sattlertor is located in a traffic-calmed area in the center of Forchheim.

From here, the children can easily walk to the city park, the "Sportinsel" (sports and leisure area), playgrounds, and the town center.

The Martinschule (school) and the after-school care center are located in the immediate vicinity.

Description and Stations

Our Sattlertor daycare center is located in the city center within a traffic-calmed zone. The city center and recreational areas, such as the Sportinsel, the Regnitz riverfront, and the city park—are easily accessible. The Martinschule is located in the immediate vicinity.
