Introduction/specifics

After the former "Kindergarten unter dem Regenbogen" (Rainbow Kindergarten) closed its doors in the summer of 2017, the "Kita Am Lindenanger" daycare center was established in October 2017 under the sponsorship of the City of Forchheim, located at Bamberger Str. 48.

The facility is situated near the northern edge of the city park, and the town center is just a short walk away. There are also numerous playgrounds in the vicinity of our center that we love to explore with the children.

Kita Am Lindenanger is a place where people from a wide variety of countries and cultures come together. Through respectful and appreciative interaction, we learn with and from one another in our daily lives. The children are free to romp around, discover the world, and develop at their own pace within three small groups.

Basics

The primary role of the kindergarten is to complement and support the family.

The facility adheres to the Bavarian Education and Training Plan, which outlines—among other things—core competencies, cross-curricular educational perspectives, and specific educational areas.

Based on these perspectives, areas, and competencies, the educational staff at the "Am Lindenanger" daycare center have established the following pedagogical priorities:

Description and Stations

Our kindergarten is located just north of the city center, not far from Forchheim’s main thoroughfare - the intersection of Adenauerallee and Bamberger Straße. Our facility is within easy walking distance of both the city center and the northern part of Forchheim. We are also easily accessible via public transport, with bus stops located in the immediate vicinity.
