Introduction/specifics
In the Lutheran Georgskindergarten, children after the age of 2.9 years are admitted until they enter elementary school. During this time, the children have the opportunity to experience the world and all its wealth - in both sensory and playful ways. The focus is on the child's own motivation to learn (self-education potential).
The faculty members accompany each child in his or her individual learning process. Accompanying means, for example, exploring the world with the child, creating a stimulating environment, and monitoring and documenting the child's learning process.
Through the differently-equipped play and learning corners, each child can develop both individually and in groups in their education process (such as letters, numbers, weighing, sorting, etc.), creatively, and in role playing games.
One focus in our Kindergarten lies in sharing Christian values. In everyday life, the children experience mutual appreciation, charity, tolerance, a sense of responsibility, and community spirit. The kindergarten day is organized according to these basic values.
Other important aspects are the "everyday language promotion,”small group work, age-appropriate activities, and the discovery of the local environment through excursions.
A close and trusting relationship with parents and/or custodians is the basis for a good educational partnership.
The children should be offered space and time for their individual development, and they should be closely followed.
"Everyone has their place in the community and will be accepted as they are"!
