Introduction/specifics

We offer qualified daycare for children up to the age of 3 by childminders (Kindertagespflegeperson, Tagesmutter) in a family setting. The daycare places are spread across the entire city of Erlangen.

In addition to educated kindergarden teachers, people from other professional fields also work as childminders. They are qualified in special courses by the child day care specialist service (Fachdienst Kindertagespflege). After an intensive check, one receives a nursing license.

In a small group with up to five children, your child will experience a loving bond with a strong and reliable caregiver and individual education, care and upbringing.

If the child day care person is unavailable, the substitute care at Fachdienst Kindertagespflege can take over the care.

Rooms

Child day care predominantly takes place in the child minder's private premises, but is also offered in rented rooms. These are individually equipped, but of course always child-friendly and safe.

Outdoor Facilities

Some of our childminders have their own gardens with play areas. Everyone can reach playgrounds within walking distance and regularly go out for some fresh air with the children.

Food

The food is cooked by the daycare persons themselves. Special dietary habits can be coordinated with you and taken into account accordingly.

Basics

The basis of pedagogical work in day care for children is the Bayerische Bildungs- und Erziehungsplan (BEP), comparable to the work in crèches. Depending on the daycare provider, the focus is on different aspects such as nature-based pedagogy, creative and musical work or Montessori or Waldorf education. What they all have in common is the individual focus on every single child and its stage of development.
