Current information

Our kindergarten
We work according to the pedagogy of Maria Montessori combined with ‘open work’. From 01.09.2024, our kindergarten will offer 50 places for children aged 3-6 years.
Montessori recognises the many benefits of mixing ages from kindergarten age onwards for the development of young people and preparation for later life.
The diversity of children within a group is educationally and didactically valuable. By consciously mixing ages and integrating children with disabilities, we offer all children a large social training ground and also the opportunity to learn from each other independently of adults.
We open our doors.

Our educational work

We work according to the basic principles of Maria Montessori's pedagogy. The most important guiding principle of this pedagogy, ‘Help me to do it myself’, forms the basis of our work with the children. Children are curious and discover, explore and shape their environment in their own personal way.  They approach everyday life with great enthusiasm and openness to new things. Children want to get to the bottom of things independently and concentrate on tasks they set themselves. In our kindergarten, the children are accompanied in their personal development processes. We offer them security and well-being.
Love for children and respect for their dignity are at the centre of Montessori education. In this way, each child learns to recognise their individual value and at the same time to respect the needs and personalities of others.
The environment we have prepared with various Montessori materials invites the child to work independently. This free choice of activity enables the child to make better use of his or her sensitive phases. This refers to limited periods of time in which children show a particularly high readiness and ability for certain learning content, e.g. learning language, learning colours and shapes, dressing themselves, etc.

Maria Montessori observed that children can become absorbed in their work and forget their surroundings. She referred to this as polarisation of attention. She assumes that this state promotes the child's active learning.
The educator works as a mediator between the child and the environment. She prepares the environment and shows the child how to use the materials. She places trust in the child's strengths and abilities and provides a clear and safe framework. Whenever possible, she withdraws, but is always ready to help the child ‘do it themselves!’

Characterised by the Christian view of humanity, we value living together in mutual respect

Working with parents
Intensive collaboration with you as parents is particularly important to us. We offer you a variety of opportunities for dialogue:
- ‘Door-to-door talks’
- Discussions with parents about your child's development
- Fixed parent consultation hours
- Parents' evenings
- Participation in the parents' council
In general, we attach great importance to an open and lively exchange between parents and carers.
It is of great importance for a child that the parents on the one hand and the teachers on the other hand support their child's development in a harmonious way.
Our goal:
Together with you - making children strong for life!

Working hours
In order to support our centre, parents and guardians are obliged to work hours free of charge. During the course of each year at the daycare centre, each family - regardless of the number of children - is required to work 15 hours.                                                              If the working hours are not fulfilled, a fee of €15.00 per hour must be paid

What is behind the parents' hours
- It is part of our Montessori pedagogy and it is very important to us that we actively involve you as parents in the everyday life of the kindergarten and your child.
- The children are proud that you help to organise things in the kindergarten and are happy about it
- Parents' hours make it easier for you to gain an insight into our work and the everyday life of your children.
- We would like to create a triangle between you as parents, your child and us, the kindergarten, through the parent-teacher conferences and organise the educational process together.

Together this should be a joint co-operation and a joint project - this is a basic idea of Maria Montessori's pedagogy.
