Who we are:
Villa Regenbogen daycare center is a home for all children of the world. It is located in the core city opposite the castle grounds. It is a family-supplementary care and educational place for children from 12 months until they start school, where children can feel safe and secure and are accepted with their strengths and weaknesses. Our daycare center accommodates three mixed-age groups for up to 75 children from the age of 3 and a crèche group for up to 10 children.
We are a language daycare center and are supported within the framework of the federal program "Because language is the key to the world" by an additional specialist in the focus areas of everyday integrated language promotion, inclusive pedagogy and cooperation with families.

Food

We obtain our lunch from Kochfabrik Wetterau, who provide us with a varied, child-friendly lunch every day.

We prepare our breakfast at the daycare center so that the children can eat it together with their friends. We emphasize sugar-free, chewable foods.

Basics

Our pedagogical focus is on the holistic development and support of the children. In order to recognize and strengthen their abilities and skills, we give them plenty of time, stimulate their curiosity, encourage their own initiative and involve all their senses. Through play, the children learn many skills, make their own experiences and can try things out. In this way, we enable the children to learn holistically. Children's play offers one of the most valuable learning opportunities. There they can develop their creativity in the most diverse situations. We offer the children a good atmosphere for play, so that they can safely use all play opportunities and spaces, and give them confidence in themselves and their actions.

Our pedagogical offers and projects are based on the interests and needs of the children. We take into account their individuality as well as the diversity of different cultures and life situations. In our individually designed rooms, the children have a lot of fun and enjoyment and can learn from and with each other.

Teamwork with school

Through various projects and activities, we offer the future school children a special last year of kindergarten. With the Würzburg program "Listen, Listen, Learn", the language development of these children is intensively supported and thus the prerequisite for the acquisition of written language is created. Through collegial exchange between the educators of the school and Villa Regenbogen, as well as visits to the school and daycare center, we prepare the children for the start of school.
