Basics
The premises and our outdoor area as well as the immediate proximity to fields, forests and meadows offer very good conditions for the concept of a nature kindergarten. The implementation of our pedagogical work is based on two fundamental pillars.
One of the two pillars is nature education. Learning from nature, is learning first hand Three days a week we are out with the children in the forest, field and meadows. The natural environment offers space and play material in abundance e.g. sticks, stones, leaves, moss cones, etc.). Nature with all its inhabitants and recurring rhythms in the course of the year provide profound sensory impressions.
The second pillar is Kneipp pedagogy. This includes 5 areas: Life order (rituals, structures), water applications (treading water at the stream, dew treading on the meadow), medicinal herbs (herbal spiral), movement (forest days, walks) and balanced nutrition (healthy breakfast, cooking days). Both approaches are very well combined and intertwine. The children learn in and with nature. Daily outdoor activities are a matter of course for us in almost any weather.
