Introducing ourselves

OUR FACILITY - A PLACE TO FEEL GOOD AND GROW

Location

Our small, family-run facility, in the district of Mannstedt in the rural community of Buttstädt, is in a very quiet and idyllic location, away from major roads, noise and traffic, nestled in the middle of nature. This special location enables us to offer the children a sheltered place where they can be children - curious, wild, creative and safe.

In our daycare center, the focus is on the child - with all their questions, ideas, needs and talents. We look forward to accompanying each child on their journey and working with them to create an unforgettable kindergarten experience.

We have 22 childcare places for children from the age of one until they start school. We are open from 6.15 am to 4.15 pm.

Pedagogy

Your children are looked after by three pedagogical specialists in two groups, a crèche group from 1 to 3 years with 6 children and a kindergarten group from 3 years - school entry with 16 children. In this group, we work on a partially open basis, so your children can choose their own play partners and play activities according to their stage of development.

The manageable group sizes create a family atmosphere in which each child receives individual attention and support.

Our pedagogical approach is based on a situation-oriented approach with a focus on closeness to nature. We want to inspire and empower children for sustainable development. We support your children individually and in a way that is close to their lives, we take up their topics and create spaces in which they can research, learn and develop independently. Nature offers us new opportunities for this every day - whether it's a walk through meadows, forests and fields or creative work with natural materials.

Outdoor area

Our spacious outdoor area with numerous play options invites children to discover, romp and experience every day. Memories are made here that will last a lifetime. Whether climbing, swinging, seesawing or playing in the sand and water - every child will find a place to be happy.

A special highlight is our *WOODWORKSHOP*, where young craftspeople can give free rein to their creativity with child-friendly tools and various natural materials under loving supervision. This not only trains fine motor skills, but also boosts self-confidence and the joy of being creative.

A raised bed also adorns our garden. Here, all the children gain experience in seasonal natural events. The harvested fruit and vegetables are processed directly and eaten by the children.

Catering

The health of your children is very important to us, which is why we make sure they have a balanced and varied diet. Fresh fruit and vegetables as well as sugar-free drinks are therefore always on offer. Breakfast and snacks are provided daily by the facility. Lunch is delivered by RASTENBERGER FERTIG and FRISCHEMENUE GmbH.

There is always something going on at the “FRECHDACHSEN”. There are numerous highlights throughout the year, such as Children's Day, the Sports Family Summer Festival, the Neptune Festival and our Secret Santa market.
